Doesn’t bestbuy have those 1 year payment plans for purchases of $1000+. Would save you the interest you’re paying if the loan was a nonparent loan

they have APR% rates as well on their financing. I got approved for a personal loan with an APR of like 10.7% so ill only have $150~ in interest

I actually own this exact laptop lmao, Got it a while back. But i would highly recommend this especially if you're into gaming, It is really fast and can play almost any game i had on it at really high graphics. Though i think the best thing about it is the display is actually really pretty and gets decently bright, Makes lots of games look much nicer, keyboard is also pretty nice, Overall i never had any issues with it at all. There may be better laptops out there don't get me wrong but in my opinion it's definitely worth the money

Thank you! I appreciate the response, good to hear someone has the laptop and enjoys its capabilities. Definitely considering this one

On another note,

I just found an MSI GP63 on Newegg for $1499, maximizing my budget, but please give me feedback and comparisons and this laptop model as well!

MSI GP Series GP63 Leopard-428 15.6" 120 Hz FHD GTX 1070 8GB VRAM i7-8750H 16 GB Memory 128 GB SSD 1TB HDD Windows 10 Home 64-Bit Gaming Laptop -- ONLY @ NEWEGG
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...00&ignorebbr=1

The model is usually $1699 and is on sale for $1499 for 4 more hours, though my loan doesnt deposit into my account until tomorrow so I wont be able to get the sale, if the sale is still somehow running, is this a good buy? The tax comes out to about $127, but they also gave me a special promo code for an additional $50 off so the total for this laptop would be $1576

Idk asus laptop seems like the kind of laptop u would want to buy and the product by asus sell pretty much to be in a reasonable price and I bought one around for 500$ no complications and pretty good quality through my experience I've bought a phone and 2 laptops from asus brand and NO COMPLICATIONS WITH THE LAPTOP BUT when u go to the phone brand there's a lot of problems with it well through my experience like touchscreen problem but that doesn't matter because ur trying to buy a laptop not a phone

The MSI you linked is fine, it's a high end machine.

$339 for 120GB SSD but $349 for 500GB SSD. No-brainer. Loads more gigs for few more dollaz.

Is the Dell G7 not very good? Considering that one because I can go pick it up today. Plus the MSI is no longer on sale for $1499

Yeah I know PCs are better but it’s not ideal for me. I’m okay for paying more for the mobility

Dell - G7 15.6" Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 - 128GB Solid State Drive + 1TB Hard Drive - Licorice Black

ended up buying the
Dell - G7 15.6" Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 8GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 - 256GB Solid State Drive - Licorice Black
for $979
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/dell-g7...?skuId=6212436

was going to buy the $1099 one, but the only difference was the RAM and SSD. It had half the SSD and double the RAM, and i figured my SSD is much more important than the RAM size as I don't think I will use very many gb. If anything, I have 2 weeks to see how i like it! thanks for the comments

Solid choice but I personally would've gone with one of their G3 models.

They have virtually the same specs but are much slimmer.

I also recommend anyone buying a laptop with a hex-core processor to undervolt the processor since these 6 core processors tend to run hot in these laptops.

From what I used it yesterday, I was pretty satisfied. I don’t imagine I will be pushing the system to its limits much if at all very often. I was able to play League of Legends on all the highest settings and stayed at a steady 125-150 FPS throughout every game for several hours. It didn’t get very hot either since league isn’t very demanding, but I bought a laptop fan stand for when and if it does get hot. Using the recommended graphics on the game I was hitting 250 FPS.
For comparison, my last computer hit 70-90 FPS on medium-low settings and would drop randomly even lower especially in bigger team fights. Not to mention just every aspect of the system is faster.

Plus it ended up only being $1k rather than 1500 so I over-loaned and was already able to pay back 1/3 of the loan!

Overall pretty happy about the purchase, any game recommendations etc would be appreciated since I finally have a system that can handle gaming.
