No. He said it can be anything. So it could be like a music video, 15 min screenplay, movie, documentary, who knows what you can make.. i think creativity might dominate this one.

Video submissions don't have to be a trailer, but that is a valid approach to the contest.

So if you'd like to make a trailer for the game, you're fine so long as it fulfills the role of showing off why Graal is fun/attracting new players.

Why not just post the contest on the news menu across all of the iOS servers if it is an official contest so that it'll reach more of an audience? I'm sure most people wouldn't mind participating if they knew about it.

I'm sure that posting it in-game would lead to more people becoming aware of graalians.com and ultimately joining the community. After all, for Graalians birthday a ton of new users would be nice to bring some new life back to the forums.

Users who participate have to have a Graalians account, so there's that. I suggested it be advertised in the official discord since the people there should have accounts. We'll see!

I think if the powers that be desired the influx of new users that would bring, it would have already been done. I don't disagree - some new faces would be nice.

In planning a contest for the site, I had hoped to attract some new users. People are welcome to register if they'd like to participate - I don't think we will be seeing in-game advertisement any time soon, though.
