People are wishing in it because probably the man with the huge nipples and multiple pubic hairs have magic in him... plus the water is so yellow. We can pretty much blame this all on Chaotic :D

Actually, usually a noob starts wishing (like irl fountain) then 5 other noobs see him and wana do like him hoping their wish will come true, once they see those other 5 noobs, probably the whole population like to copy the others :P true that's what happens a lot of times
