Calling someone a thief and demanding some kind of proof of their skill (of any level) doesn't make you look better as an artist or a member, in fact it diminishes your image imo.

He put up his sources, he knows he pieced together a hat of existing work and minor adjustments, dunno what else you want or why youre attacking him.

and as if you have never called someone out for graphics thievery, especially when it is plain he did mostly edits. I told him to make something from scratch to see if he could do better, hell he could have put up something already made that he made from scratch to satiate me, the fact he spent 13 minutes on a hat and used that as his "proof" just tells me that he hasn't actually made anything or he is just starting. Both of which are fine, I would just expect more from someone who has called my work garbage and says he has made plenty of stuff.

oh also it is wise to not jump into something you have no background knowledge about, I asked him to post the template to compare it to the gas mask I had edited myself back when I started. So please please please stop assuming and thinking you are better than me as a person

Not all wing+gasmask combinations are bad, some guy made a cool hat for mbr using other hats and gasmasks, with the same wins as that hat, besides i bet payback saw mbrs ganghat and obsidians and attempted to mix the two together which didnt work out. Besides if u dont like the hat urself why are u posting it for us to rate?

Sounds good to me. I never said it was an amazing hat, or anything like that. I'm just trying to get opinions on it. I'd have loved to team up on this, but none of the other members receiving the hat wanted to help. Besides Swazy, who just took Loki's gas mask and plopped it on Shane's Hat of Legend, colored it black, and called it a day.
Ya, I'm only gonna say this one more time guys. So listen up. The hat ISN'T made to my liking. It's for ALL of the members receiving it. So I tried to put something together that would be a sort of compromise to all of their opinions. The only thing I wanted on the hat was wings, so don't rip on me about the combination of wings+gas mask, because it wasn't my choice. And as for MBR's and Obsidian's gang hats: those are only recolors of work that they didn't make themselves. So bravo for that? No. I'm sure if Shane saw how many edits of his Hat of Legend that we have on iEra, he'd be pissed. So don't applaud the people that put EVEN LESS work into their gang hats than I did. Kthx.

The reason I put the template up was to get professional opinions. Because I'm not one to waste a good opportunity for a custom hat on something that no one else likes. And because Jester wanted to compare my gas mask to something else, etc.
