I got bored of bf3 and switched to CS:GO, but have fun on bf4 guys I might purchase it later down the track.

I could really care less about what they look like on PC. The graphics are so so but that's what I kinda expected considering my 360 is like 8 years old. I also don't have that much money so I have to make do with what I've got for awhile.

Hey I'm sorry, CS:GO was the first CS that I ever played and I enjoy it :).

I tried out the beta and it ran like crap with my current setup (Pentium G860, 4GB 1600Mhz RAM, Radeon HD 6670 1GB DDR3). This year, I'm asking Santa for a $400-$600 NewEgg order. :drool:

Im gettig it for next gen. Whats the point in wasting 40 pounds on a inferior version on current gen when i am getting a ps4. I guess some people just cant wait

You're the one who can't wait. Enjoy your potentially faulty first batch hardware shipping with incomplete featueres (on xbone or ps4).

I can wait though. If i was gonna get one of the games such as fifa, battlefield AC4 and call of duty i would get its best version (which are all on pc or next gen)

Yet you also implie that it would have incomplete features. Well so far i have not heard of anything on ethier the xbox one or ps4 that is imcomplete.

They both are going to have day one updates. And even after that there are missing features that won't come until later on on both consoles.

I'd say buying current gen vs next gen is almost the same. Next gen is just barely starting, these games won't be reaching the full potential of the consoles for a couple years.
Just because there's something new doesn't mean what we have already is useless or crap.

If you get it on current generation consoles you can transfer all your stats and upgrade to next gen for 10$.

but, im probably going to end up waiting for a bit, get ps4 and bf4 on it and end up selling my 360 and all my games on it. I hardly play on the 360 and if I do its battlefield so why not.

i cant wait to finally be able to get rid of freakin defibulators and instead have a M320 or a shotgun, and have a med pack. Also being able to have carbines instead of assault rifles. I cant wait for AEK with one of those new foregrips that decreases your spread

No, unfortanatly they didnt, driving and flying is very awkward. Im sticking to assault and infantry until thats fixed. Also tanks are way underpowered vs air. It now takes 2 shots to take down a heli in a tank, and everyone knows that shooting down choppers with the tanks main gun is not easy.

So how are you guys liking Battlefield 4? I'm waiting for next-gen to buy it. I've heard people say it's too much like Battlefield 3 but I don't think I'd notice since I didn't play it very much.

Holy crap, i wnt into battlefield 4 thinking it would play like 3, oh boy i was wrong. Its completley different. Its safe to say, this is in its own catagory of gameplay.

No vehicle disables, instead theres critical hits that temporaly disables your vehivle.
Theres no more suppression from ARs. They now only come from snipers and LMGs
Support and Recon class got a huge buff, recons can be agressive again easily as theres no suppressing fire so your not losing accuracy. But with the suppression snipers provide making everyones shots innaccurate so you get a bit more time to line up your shots. Also you can now zero in your shot so you dont have to aim above targets. The motion balls are back from BC2, so recons now with a carbine will obliterate objectives. they also have C4

Support had a massive buff and is arguably one of the best classes. With lmgs and there ability to supress makes other players feel like they are using a lmg in bf3 while your sitting there blastin the crap out of him, lmgs are now boss. That with the suppression perk = absolute domination. The xm25 is a game changer. For starters, it detects near by infantry and explodes within 3 meters of the person, so you can just shoot above a player taking cover and kill them. Lmgs bipoded are now meat grinders. You can just lay it down and mow down 3 people shooting at you from 60 meters. Since you take no supression, unlike in bf3 were your gun would jump all over the place, it just sits still and you maintain that massive accuracy.

Enginer had a big gameplay change. Theres now so much more rocket types, theres the first one that if the rocket is close to the vehicle, it detects it and rams into it, theres the wireguided rockets, AA, and the rpgs (these own). They also now have damage differences, the lock on rockets / smart rockets deal less damage while the RPG deals the most damage.

Assault did not have a darastic change. Its still the superior infantry unit but holy crap, the assault rifles feel so much better than bf3. In bf3 the assault rifles were super jumpy and hard to control, in bf4 they are much smoother. Only real change in assault is that you can now have 2 gadgets, so you can have a med packand launcher, or defib and launcher.

Naval warfare is actually implemented really well. Especially on maps like cangnang dam or parcel storm. Boats are incredibly OP if theres 4 people on them, they can literaly obliterate ANYTHING, including tanks, with ease.

Transport choppers are now super good. The miniguns on them changed from bf3 where they shot in one huge cluster and it was hard to hit people, now they shoot in line like jets. They are ridiculose and impossible to take down when you got 4 people in there. If you make a transport chopper squad and have good communication, you will destroy.

Jets, no change

Scout choppers are awesome. They are now no longer defenseless vs heavy armor as they now have 25mm cannons. They can now be played like attack choppers.

Attack choppers no change

Tanks no real major change. You can now have a optic, countermesure, and shell type. The HE shell which obliterates infanty or the AP shell that deals massive damage to armor.

Lavs only change was clip increased from 6 to 12.

AA mobile, these had a massive buff. They are now somewhat effective vs infantry doing something like 10-15 damage, but vs armor, they can now deal out a lot of damage. You can take down a tank on a 1v1 with mobile AA if your showing the front.

Major vehicle changes were made that made lock on rockets or air to ground missles super effective is that it takes something like 25-30 seconds to reload your countermeasures. Another huge change was a new top hit box was added and it is not affected by reactive armor. Hitting the top of a vehicle is the equivelent of hitting the side of one.

Levelution can really change up a game. A example on golmud railroad is the random IEDs you can find around the map, go to the detonater or throw an explosive on it and make a massive explosion one hitting anything that is in its main blast radius.

Ooh, sounds good. I really only used the medic class in BF3 but I'll try them all in BF4. I just saw some gameplay videos and I can't wait to play

I've been playing it for a 2 days and its absolutely amazing. They've done everything right

no they didn't
for starters, the NETcode is terrible
the compensators and muzzle breaks ruin your gun. Spread needs to be decreased to a 20% loss.
44 and MP412 rex are really bad now.
its way to easy to get to level 100. Someone yesterday hit level 100 on xbox (only takes 8,000,000 points).
2xp events need to go away since you can get 25-200% XP boost for 1 hour of gameplay.
The tanks still are crap vs air as the main gun cannot take down a scout or attack chopper in one hit.
Theres still fixes that need to be done.

Loving the game.

The UMP, M4, and M249 are what I've been using. They really buffed LMG accuracy.

COD ghosts netcode probably makes BF4s seem amazing, it's so horrible atm

I highly doubt that. Bf4 on PC is auful with the netcode and game crashes. On onsole the netcode is good and game crashes not so frequent

I don't know how battlefield 4 isn't on demand yet, but call of duty was put on demand in like a week.

Update has roled out. Less frequent game crashes. Yay

I haven't really been playing because of the crashes/freezes and how it takes me double the time to connect to a game. Hopefully this update fixes some of that.

I enjoy bf4..But if theres one problem playing, its the field upgrade bar glitching out..Sometimes me and my squad members don't even know if we have the upgrade cause the bar will be all the way full but we would still have just the Level 1 specializations. Dice needs to fix that ASAP.

I freakin hate that, i look at it and say, oh? I have reduced fall damage? *jumps over a wall* splat.


Oh also, bf4 multiplayer will be down for 3 hours starting at 9am us centeral (i think) for maitenince
