Thank you. Im just tired of my gfx being stolen.

There is a difference between editing and recoloring.

Editing is taking a template and changing it and making it very different from the original so that the two could never be confused.

If you do this and give credit to the maker of the graphic you edited its okay, but ask permission.


Now if you take another graphic and just barely change it/recolor it that's not editing and it's not okay.

If you do that and don't give credit or don't ask the maker first then it's stealing because your claiming you made the graphic when you just barely edited it and its basically the same/recolored.

Stealing is a big deal, and if you steal a graphic you will be harassed, mocked, hated, and reported, if we actually get some gps that are moral you'll get the stolen graphic removed with no refund.


I try my best to stop these thieves by pointing out stolen graphics, harassing, reporting, and doing all I can to get them removed.

I have abused a eurocenter database glitch (now patched) that allowed me to use another eurocenter app to contact other accounts on graalonline via pm, clicking my name would bring the player to a blank user profile with my gender and name and nothing else, since my graalonline accounts have been banned by XOR,

I used the glitch to impersonate a eurocenter employee and threaten thieves that if they did not refund the stolen graphic I would manually remove it from their account and they would not receive any money back, and that if they upload any more copyright or stolen graphics I would ban them from the uploads system.

10/13 times this worked on them. 8/13 never stole again as far as I have found.

What I did was wrong, but if the staff wouldn't do it, I knew it was up to me. I'd do it again if I had the chance.

A note to all thieves out there, you will be caught, it is wrong, and it isnt a victimless crime. I and other GFXers will do whatever we can to make your life living hell. Just because staff may ignore it and spout crap about eurocenter owning all graphics and it being sharing and that it isn't a big deal doesn't mean your safe. Some of us around here have a lust for vengeance.

Heres a few ideas that can help:
-Have your initials/logo/name stamped on your head or body

-Suggest at the improvement section of the classic part of the forums any suggestions you think is helpful for the whole upload system

-Send an email to [email protected] having your head/body proofed of original copyright. This makes sure that they know your the original creator of the Head/Body (They know which are edits/recolors and which heads actually aren't theirs). Helps in many ways (What Higbey did)

-If you feel like you're afraid of having your graphics stolen, don't upload it

The initial thing doesnt really work, people get the template off of ifile/websires so they can easily transfer it to paint and recolor it. I only player Era so idk how that system works. And if we dont upload our work, theres no point of making it. If the person asked to use the template, and i say yes, there wouldnt be a problem, just give me respect by saying that i was the original creator.

Wait is xertic you know how to use ifile?

ill admit ive used ifile before to use other peoples graphics becuase they are really cool which should be a compliment but my experiences with ifile are that ive noticed u cannot open certain file extensions. it might be very hard but my idea to this is u can still add all graphics but use those picture extensions that your ipod cant open. i know this is possible so dont say its not. just an example, old word processor program cant open the file ext. .docx but it can open .doc, without losing any information. it bothers me when people take my graphics too thats y i ask whoever made it before i do take the file from ifile. (ps.having ifile doesnt mean i try to hack the game like most people say which is really annoying -.-)

and if you do upload your work, you should notice that it becomes the property of GraalOnline and it won't care if your upload gets edited/recolored and published again...

If you don't want your work to get stolen, don't upload it..

there are the same shading of new head of xertic
so xertic remake a already exist head? or he made this one too? :o

You can not stop your GFX from getting stolen if you upload them there always WILL be a way. I wish people would stop crying about stolen work, who cares if someone takes your in game pixels and claims them, grow up.

I think I found a problem to this initial situation
So let's say there's joe. He likes stealing gfx. There's mr cluckin. He makes gfx. He puts his name or whatever as one of the animations like the death. He removes the actual head so when he dies, it displays mr cluckin or whatever. That way, if joe steals it, when he does, people will know oh mr cluckin made it! But, if they're skilled enough, they could just copy+ paste the head and tilt it. But I doubt any gfx thief has that type of knowledge.
