Now we need same-sex marriage in online games, getting tired of having to play a female so my friends and I can get marriage bonuses if the game has any.

You uh, you sure there aren't any underlying psychological cues there if you're the one always being the female? Just uh, just checking.

Or, a more relevant issue.

This is a nice change to see, just hope it doesn't lose steam; there's still a long way to go.

It's pretty obvious he's either:

a)Trying to bait a response/get people mad at him

b)Trying in a pathetic way to mock anyone that could potentially be against this particular ruling.

Either way 2/10 not subtle enough, go back to Troll University.

The sad thing is he isn't even trolling. He was forum messaging me too lol.

Got nothing to say to me?

I'm offended, he likes to pick fights with pro-gay rights advocates but not diehard atheists like me.

Mustn't be interested in hardcore ****, lil ****y.

Or he is expressing his legitimate opinion on the topic?

Ghettoicedtea 06-29-2015 06:44 PM

i think this is a step in the right direction. But honestly this won't do really anything against gay marriage discrimination because churches can say no we will not marry gays because it is against our religions practice. There is nothing the law can do about that. The only thing this does do is if the gay couple gets married, they must recieve full benifits for being married from jobs and the government and be seen as married.

There's also tax breaks for inherited money. Not sure all the ins and out, but gay individuals that left money to their significant other had to pay taxes because they weren't married. Not to mention their satisfactions as being treated fairly.

Kendama 06-30-2015 02:26 AM

Wait?! Why the **** was this ruled!? This is completely unconstitutional!!! What an outrage omg... Think of all the gay people on the streets. That is completely against the bible and it says so on 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.

That is complete disrespect for jesus' sacrifice on the cross. He died so we could be married and not have to deal with gay marriages everywhere. Thats what the America I KNEW stands for. What on earth....

Why. Why couldn't they just take away our guns that would prevent all of the meaningless shootups we have these days. Instead they think gay people are important enough to go to the supreme court? I can't believe this. Everybody needs to send a letter to the supreme court and their congressmen/representative right now and tell them how this in direct defiance with gods will. Jesus, help us all. this is all sarcasm.

From Reddit;

"To all of my friends and family who honestly believe that yesterday's Supreme Court ruling somehow infringes on your religious freedom, I have one word for you: Bacon.
I'm serious. BACON.
Bacon is legal in the United States, right? "Of course it is," you say. "What's your point?" Well, bacon is legal in the United States, even though most Jewish people believe it to be a sin. Does your love of bacon infringe on their religious freedoms in any way? Should it be illegal for you to purchase bacon, just because they believe that you're sinning when you do so? The fact that bacon is legal doesn't force anyone to eat it, and the fact that it's against some people's religion doesn't prevent those who want to from eating it. That's pretty much the definition of "Religious Freedom".
Why is gay marriage any different? Tradition? The Biblical admonishment against pork goes back just as far as its condemnation of gay s** (the scriptures that reference them aren't even all that far apart from each other), so that can't be it. I think the uncomfortable Truth is that you like bacon, so you ignore that scripture (along with all of the other Old Testament laws that you pay no attention to), but the thought of gay people having s** makes you feel icky, so you hold up that scripture as justification for your homophobia. If thinking about gay people having s** really bothers you that much, then here's a thought: Just stop thinking about gay people having s**. Problem solved.
There's a reason that your religious beliefs aren't The Law in this country (no matter how much you might sometimes want them to be). Remember the uproar about "Sharia Law"? Well, do you know what Sharia Law actually is? It's a faction of Islam that wants to enforce its religious beliefs on others, by having them made into law. Sounds terrible, doesn't it? You know what else would be terrible? Having YOUR religious beliefs made into law (or anybody's really). Why is Sharia Law a "bad thing", but outlawing things that your religion is opposed to is supposedly a good thing? Surely you see the hypocrisy there.
But back to bacon... If you believe that bacon is a sin, then don't eat bacon. If you believe that gay marriage is a sin, then don't get gay married.
That's Religious Freedom."

thats something that the SJWs DONT UNDERSTAND and the point i was trying to make. Churches are going to say no to marry gays because it is against their religous beliefs and everyone is soon going to be pissed since they are discriminating gays. It is just going to be a never ending ****storm

Hey mang, this is Murica'.

What would this country be if there were no two opposing sides going at each other's throats?

SouthernZombie* 06-30-2015 08:05 PM

Amen, colin.

The city I live in denied almost 5 lgbt couples a marriage license. This is a nice law and all, but still not working for little redneck citys in texas.

Ivy 06-30-2015 09:28 PM

I heard that the churches would have to start paying taxes :).
