I swear, I keep doing things the hard way and having to go back and redo them. I tried the NLA editor so I can add mutliple animations, and then find out there seems to be lack of knowledge on how to get them into unity or whatever. So I end up having to put them on one timeline and retry. x-x..

Also, starting to create a test level for running jumping, some characters will jump higher, climbing, testing un-flat plains, and walking up and down slopes and unleveled land.. Since I'm going to redo the scripts and follow a different tutorial for the player input. |

Alright, I have been fixing up my website, Linkedin, and getting ready for job searches over the last few days. Also, doing a side project of streaming Borderlands 2 with a group.
Before it gets too cold I will be heading to MD to help with my grandparents yard for a week or two and in the meantime working on re-organizing my computer and hard-drive files, as well as bookmarks. If I still have time, I'll learn 2-3 photoshop tutorials. However, when I come back I will start on the Greek Mythology project again and keep you all updated! My problem, so far, is that I need to re-do the control and camera after Unity updated, and I really don't want to. I am new to unity and never was a good programmer, so I'm a bit slower than most in learning it. But I really do want this project to come off the ground, even if the project after the demo seems unable to be completed, I know I can finish this. (Once the demo is finished, there will be a hell of a lot of human models needed to be completed which I cannot do alone. Not to mention rigging and animating.) Sorry for the lack of updates, I will message you all in 2-3 weeks. |

Recently Started Again
I started back up on the project a few days ago and I have changed my direction a little for the start. I'm not a good programmer, and it takes me quite a while to do. In order to get the foot in the door that I want, I'm currently making the trailer for the game, and then the models. Hopefully the foot in the door will get others who might want to help with the game along side me. Maybe even donations to pay people to help. I will also be blogging about what I've done, almost daily, and show what I am doing on twitch which will be any time I am working on it. ----- I have currently started working on the model for the Nemean Lion on hercules's first labor. That will be inside of the trailer that I am going to be working on. I have finished the base mostly and will be working on the hair. after the look is semi finished I will iron out the kinks so it looks better. The hair will be planear so that it doesn't take too many game resources trying to render it. this is insane.. for the idle though you might want the body leaned on one leg more, so not to make the body as rigid/straight

I might have to redo him entirely. The cloth needs to be redone which might make it so I need to redo the animation but I will keep that in mind, thank you!

Done for today. Going to work on it again on Saturday. Tomorrow I am job searching for most of the day. I am still worried about it being animated but the mane is looking alright and coming along I think. |

So, I was working on the environment since the lion is now mainly rigged. Still not finished with the lion, but I wanted to start on the environment of the scene. This is the outside which really won't be seen... so I started after working on the inside. Problem is I'm not too sure what to have inside the cave, so I'm going to start on the walk cycle of the lion and work on the scene animation. I'm back in MD right now so I won't be working on it until after the holidays.

I hope everyone has enjoyed their holiday! I've been really busy. I hope to start on the project again this coming week. However I'll be gone again on the 31st / 1st.

Starting on this project again but working on the Titan and God models. I won't be doing the actual game mechanics until they are finished. To give something to show.
Also, I need to work on the models better and not have clothes overlapping the bodies. They need to be apart of them. Still job searching, but I'd like to keep this project towards around 3PM or 6PM. I'll be streaming on Twitch and Youtube, started today (won't be around tomorrow I don't think). I'll work on Zeus next after redoing some of the body to get rid of unnecessary vertices. The object is to make this a 3D game that could potentially use VR. So, the models will have to be good for games, but to be seen up close. I'll figure it out. :) |
Currently working on Zeus. I did get a better video render of Medusa as well. Fixed her hair from breaking in rotation as well.

Once I upload my models to my website I can easily link the pictures onto here. Uploading five pictures per person is going to take take too long. Expect that in a few days.

Well, the few days thing didn't work out, but I do have many done, and redone. Currently, I'm working on Pegasus. But for the last year I've been working on 35mm slides for my grandparents to scan them in, convert them to digital 4k and archive the tiff, and finally converting them to jpg for Bluray. I think I have about 4,000 pictures that I scanned in lol...

Tomorrow I do have two job interviews, one here in PA and another in VA, so it might take more time for the newer ones. Currently working on Pegasus but it is only 1/2 finished. Most of them are not textured, however. Also, the game portion of it I gave up on. I'd rather have 3D models for my portfolio until I can get more people involved. I can't work on the gaming project alone.
