difficult ≠ bad

imo

The challenge is part of the fun

Not many people felt the same.

How about they shut down the server during this time and have people go and trick or treat for real instead of getting excited about getting candy in a video game that has real effect at all.

Does anyone have any guesses on what the rooftop extension of Taylor Richaards will be? I initially thought that it was going to be a costume shop but then they wouldn't have added that extension if they were just going to sell holiday costumes since they could've added it downstairs like they usually do yearly.

If you enter the room you will get your account deleted, thats what I think.

It seems like most of what is going on is just "preparing" for decorations. Maybe the outside will look like a haunted house or something.

Mio 10-19-2015 05:44 PM

how about implement both ideas into one, but a twist!

Areo 10-19-2015 06:08 PM

Either way, im liking the fall look. I wouldn't mind seeing a second floor addition, but I kinda feel like it'll just be for cosmetics as opppossed to an actual second floor.

LiA 10-20-2015 06:20 AM

Sooooo, these two guards in Destiny mentioned the "dead". Does that mean we're getting zombies?:D

Golden Panda 10-20-2015 09:59 AM

Kudos to the Graphics Admin Team! Love the weather effects and the decorations. Can't wait for Halloween quests, events and Club Crypt.

Pokki 10-20-2015 02:22 PM

I liked the one year they did the trivia with the witch for that broom mount. The only thing bad about it is that when people started killing you she goes away. And it took FOREVER to find the witch again.

The server can barely hold 4000 online players at a time without crashing, I seriously doubt this will be implemented unless a server upgrade is on its way.

Just like the Easter egg hunt, there were so many people online that you couldn't even see anyone else but yourself, too many images for my devices to display at once, no point in playing during these times as it is to laggy for anything at all.

The devs can easily add a type of "amount of visible players shown" when there are too many people in certain areas.

Graaloween last year was pretty cool with leaderboards and actually going to houses to trick or treat. Except the people who gave candy got screwed. The people who received candy got 100% of profit and paid 000000 gralats to get it which makes sense. However the people who gave away candy paid 500 PER BOWL and got 1/2 of profit. So i don't see any logic in that its simply a no brainer if you want more candy don't collect because giving away candy is expensive and you don't get as much! Also, I liked the idea of no tricks last year, ya they were funny for the first few times you get them from NPC's but after u spend 100 candy and get 3 items (just my luck! especially from space food too) it wasn't so funny. This is just me but, do the same as last year Collectors-spend nothing get 100% candy earned but let Spenders- 500 per bowl but 2X candy to make it fair and logical. Second i liked finding NPCs that gave u diff hats and please do not include tricks or if you do please limit the amount one gets or people like me will be in trouble LOL thanks I'm looking forward to this years GRAALOWEEN

It was also easier to just sit in Graal City and say "Enter house for candy" than it was to actually enter everyone's house to get candy. So I think it's a little more balanced than you're giving it credit for.

True it was easier to earn candy by allowing people to enter house but the prices and amount of candy given back would need a little more fine adjusting and it would be perfect graaloween but yes you make a great point! i also hope trophies can be earned again this year :0

Player count really hasn't grown that much to the point where it would make a large difference and some people find competition to be more fun.

Contests are fun.

Seeing who can stay on for 3+ days straight without sleeping in order to be on top of candy hunting list is not.

Incapable of moving there fingers left right up down and tapping a glove? Heres my analysis of this, basically you and others want the bowl idea and crap because you hate contest when contest is what made it graaloween in the first place, people who are incapable are children that are basically so lazy they want an new style of the event entirely. People get butthurt due to the fact that people took the time to hunt ghosts and were successful about it whilst they sat on their asses afking believing theyd magically get free candy by doing so.

The candy collecting from the house was seriously a pain, no one besides people that take the time to jump in homes 24/7 actually had fun because its like switching from a fair contest to basically house jumping which was in favor of the other players that normally do those things. It was no where fun, going to a persons house that either had a farm or maze or even a passcode just for one piece of candy. Dont even get me started on the fact that the prizes where overpriced, in less than a few days, without competition people rose up to the leaderboards. In my opinion, Ghost catching is fun and has a challenge behind it, and candy house collecting is boring (cool idea but ****ing boring) and was mostly designed for the people that couldnt bother with moving their fingers.

This also proves my point, it was easy, so easy it made me want to pretend halloween wasnt a holiday due to the fact it was extremely boring, and annoying to see players sitting there "OPEN HOUSE GET CANDY" basically a code shop.

Exactly, if you guys wanna lay around all day, why not offer an idea of going in houses for candy but also give the option of hunting ghosts, cuz clearly, this argument is slowly becoming one sided due to people wanting to make things easier

I love contests but I'm just trying to think of the younger and newer people in the game. I barely get on either way though so none of this has an impact on me

Then don't. If someone doesn't have the brain capacity to catch candy with a net they have bigger issues than worrying about "how unfair this is to new players"

Also if they could start it today that'd be really cool because it's the weekend now

Zetectic 10-23-2015 08:07 PM

if theres any contest that are gonna get added. make it like the egg hunting event. so people doesn't have to no life in the whole halloween week and it's gonna calm it down at the end.

If there is going to be an event with rewards, you could make some special halloween treasure maps as one of the rewards. Would especially be great with the original trick or treating system.

The NPC could sometimes give a map (would be cool if it'd be black or pumpkin themed) with a location. Then the treasure could contain a special item. The maps should not be given out too often though, just as a fun extra.
