Well I mean I hope they don't scrap it on the Wii U because Dusty and my relationship depends on getting the game for both consoles so we don't fight over it D:

They didn't do that to Twilight Princess, don't know why people are implying they'd do it this time.

Yeah if they were planning on cancelling it they wouldn't have already opened pre-orders for the WiiU version, it will one-hundred percent be on both consoles.

My outfit should arrive sometime January so will have it before Switch release, going to wear it and see if I can beat BotW in one sitting, maybe buy some more zelda props too since I already own the Ocarina may as well expand the collection

All this talk about the switch and the Wii U, and I'm here with one of the old wiis that supported GameCube.

But anyway im worried about the switch and if it can compare to current gen a next gen consoles I know it is revolutionary and all but will third party care probably not would the mainstream softcore gamers care about the system if it doesn't have the next cod game on not nope I keep saying this about Nintendo back off of innovation for a bit and focus on power and get back on your feet because this is a big ass risk and if they fail they're screwed because the 3DS kept them afloat now they put all their eggs in one basket and if it falls their doomed

Switch has full third-party support, the company behind CoD is already backing Nintendo and plans to release games on it including CoD...

A LOT of game development companies are backing this, you can even see Skyrim being played in the trailer.

Nintendo is doing a Switch live stream tomorrow and revealing some information on the Switch we've all been waiting for but there have been a few things leaked out already including a list of peripherals we will be able to purchase for it.

The best news though, there is a BotW Switch skin for both devices and protector for the hand-held device.

the switch looks cool but honestly no one's going to buy a nintendo product to play call of duty or most games that xb1/ps4 have.

Maybe, but they are smart enough to realize that isn't going to be the primary market they need to gear towards, but there a lot of xbox one and ps4 games that people would enjoy playing on the Switch especially due to hand held capabilities and added peripherals for a more suitable controller.

I think it'll still show pretty successful for that part of the market.

damn, son. I thought getting the 25th Anniversary full orchestra symphony soundtrack with Skyward Sword was a pretty sweet deal. But this is 10x better. :/ but $100 for special and $130 for master is a bit much.

Well you also got the limited edition Zelda Wiimote Plus remote. Anyone who got Skyward Sword and didn't already own a Wiimote Plus actually saved a lot of money on the special edition.

BoTW will run at 1080p 60FPS on the Switch when docked.

The current game play videos we keep seeing our the Wii-U E3 build with a few changes, so the game does not appear as optimized as it actually is.

While on Zelda thread, the company behind Hyrule Historia will be publishing the second edition of the series called Arts and Artifacts which comes out next month and is a 400-page art book including concept art and some never before seen official LoZ art.

about $650~ for Switch and BoTW, plus the outfit which was $150~ and then the Arts and Artifacts limited edition, sooo much money already but I need to get more collector itemssss

So apparently the master edition and the switch were in stock for pre-order on amazon and ran out of stock without my knowledge. I signed up for alerts so amazon would email me when they had it available and they never did, so i missed out. If I'd have known amazon wasn't going to send me a notification, I would have gotten it from best buy when I saw it available for pre-order on there. I'm extraordinarily POed and annoyed and rather upset at the fact that I might now not be able to get the master edition and possibly even the special edition...or even worse I might not be able to get the switch until after it's released... sooo... yay. First time amazon has ever let me down... /sadrant

Hard Mode and Cave of Trials is DLC now? Kind of disappointed in that. Second DLC pack looks good, but I don't like them taking content that has been in most of the Zelda's now for free as DLC.

Could they maybe finish the game before developing DLC? I thought Nintendo was better than that.

It said NEW hard mode so hopefully we're given a hard mode for free and that one is just a different type. After all every game provides it for free, it would be disappointing if BotW didn't do that.
The game's gone gold which means that they did finish developing it.

It's already finished, and the DLC packs will come out Summer 2017 and Winter 2017 not right at launch, it adds more playable content which people who've primarily beat most of the game can enjoy and make use of.

Only mistake they made was releasing hard mode as a DLC, whether this applies to the overall game or the Trials it should have just been the default difficulty of it.

The price for the pass is only $20 it's not bad at all, and hopefully this mean we will see regular DLC added to keep bringing us new content to play.

I think what separates this from most Zelda games is when you complete the game/story line there is still things to do and reasons for you to play, most Zelda games you beat the final boss and finish the game but not this one.

I was *going* to so dusty and I could play at the same time, but after seeing how much better it looks on the switch I don't wanna be deprived of that higher quality rendering and environmental sounds.

Also saving an extra $60.
