How about a suggestion, instead of doing it through an event message why not make a dedicated building where two teams could go to start a match. Each door inside the building has a different map. Or instead of two teams there could be pickup matches between random players.

Well - Snk wanted it to be Raiders V Defenders, I want it to be both teams having flags :3
So I think Snk is doing one for Event bot (Raiders v defenders) and my CTF will be ET Hostable.

@ Richard I don't know if I like the public CTF idea, classic did that and killed CTF. Better to keep it Eventable and interesting imo

Just a quick thought, before i forget it! What about having an active game of CTF in Era, it would add some excitement to see a player running by with a flag. One base could be at lethal and the other could be gangster zone or maybe mix and match set bases (2 at a time of course) to cap the flag at. CTF players couldn't interfere with regular graal play and vice versa. If you leave a certain area (out of bounds) you lose the flag, to prevent the inevitable 'hiding' of the flag.

a CTF mode could be invoked via the drop down menu or hotkey menu item to switch between Regular Era and CTF Era. I'm sure this would require a huge extension to the game base but still....

for any computer nerds my age I'm still having flashbacks of running ./q2ctf from a linux command line when i was 18.. sorry!

Anyway, its a shame that noone can write a mod of some sort for Graal Era iPhone, i'm sure there's a ton of neat stuff that can be done with this game.

If it will be a bot event, who gets the prize? the whole team?

It would be the same with Laser Tag, who ever is still alive splits the reward, not sure about ec.....

It was going so well, then I had some issues with the person helping me and it just stopped :3

Will the game be off the chain? I didn't have much fun in CTF in pc because of the "trial" off limits. I had to pay to play. I just wanted to play a legit CTF game and have fun without paying.

By the way, how many players will be playing in each team?

I can't wait to see the work put into it, but I have patience. It will get done when it gets done.

Capture the Flag (CTF) was released on classic, and just like everything new, people were swarming it for a few weeks, then slowly lost interest and walked away. Forever... Literally NOBODY plays Capture the Flag in classic anymore, and I think this is the reason it is not coming to GraalOnline Era. The developers would rather use their time on important bug fixes, and holiday updates. Instead of an insanely complicated project, that won't pay off much.
I may be wrong, but I believe this is the reason it has not come, or will not come.
