I just sell all the drops I get on the Steam market since I don't really care about cosmetics. It's nice to get extra money to spend on games and whatnot. Unfortunately I haven't earned many drops worth much of anything. Maybe one day if the RNG gods bless me I'll get a $300 weapon :O
