I barely ever sparred, bked, or pked if at all because it wasn't interesting to me. That doesn't mean I don't know about it or it makes me inexperienced. What questions could possibly not be answered just because someone doesn't spar/bk/pk? That stuff isn't that complex...and even if someone didn't know the answer to such questions, they could ask one of the many people around them that do and then omg wow now they know the answer to that question next time anyone asks! You don't need to participate in something to be informed about it.

Not to mention GPs are there to make sure no one is breaking rules, thus the same "Graal Police". They aren't there to answer your spar questions anyway, but to enforce the rules of spar (as well as all the other rules). It's a pretty obvious and simple problem to fix when someone is cheating while pking/bking/sparring so yes, saying someone is inexperienced because they don't have much of a spar/pk/bk record is idiotic.

Apparently it is complex when it took 2 years for someone to reset carly for boosting and speeding despite 50 people reporting her

Would you rather have a gp wrongfully punish someone that was innocent?

It's seems strange that most people with low stats are becoming GP's. It's very rare to see someone with decent stats - not like 100k PK's, but the usual like 10k kills etc.

I'm just beginning to think that these people have possibly created new accounts to try and get rid of their previous ban history, to give them a higher chance of being hired. I could be completely wrong, but this is just a hunch. I know stats aren't everything, and it doesn't take a lot of hours to learn the game - but I am seeing a strange pattern.

I think a reason as to why very inexperienced players aren't being hired is because they may have a few bans over the years. They should still be given a chance since it's about how well they do their job in the end (unless the ban was given over the past year)

Sorry for going off-topic, and I might get a lot of hate for posting this.

Yeah, no. I can't go into detail, but making a new account to become a GP simply wouldn't work. I already explained the deal with bans and you've already been directed there, so I won't repeat that conversation since I'm fairly certain you've read it.

When we hired her, she asked if she could make a new account and identity so that she could continue to interact with her friends without them acting differently due to her position.

I always wanted to be the Batman of Graal, but I was too thirsty for the fame to pull through.

she wasn't innocent.

Guess what, mass reports aren't proof.

David 02-10-2017 05:22 AM

Never said they were. Doesn't change the fact that she was guilty for 2+ years unpunished. Doesn't change the fact that all those reports should be looked into without having to write 3 paragraphs on what's happening in the battle arena so that something gets done.

Fulgore 02-10-2017 05:23 AM

I think the whole Carly thing is a moot point since the actions have been taken.

I do wonder what took so long to get proof, whether it was horribly inconvenient timings or something else.

People get punished when there is adequate proof. Why it took so long is probably because they were clever enough to know when and when not to break the rules and avoid getting caught. Even if they get reported a lot if a GP arrives and has no hard proof then nothing can be done. And it's for the best; reports are often abused.
