first thing that needs to be fixed: concept, the core is the most important thing... you cant just walk back and change it

Zone is a lazy paste and repeat with 5 colors. The map sucks it kills the mmo feeling

The early 2014 map before skybases were removed was the best so far, bringing that map back and expanding on it would be the best choice

I don't think it's even possible to recreate that map with the new tileset... At least, I'm hoping it's so different & improved that it's not possible. Sky bases sucked anyways, those need to go.

Gah, bit of a throwback but I agree with everything here. I've mentioned this to Tashkin/Matt/whoever has been in a position of management and even tried to spearhead some sort of change, but it's never taken seriously or goes anywhere.

Let it be noted I take offense to that MS quote. :( Speaking in all honesty, though, I agree. Too many staff have been hired & promoted out of desperation to fill that position, and not because of qualifications. Or in some cases for Dev departments, someone was hired because they were qualified if you considered only their skill in that developmental task, but were entirely unqualified to represent iZone's staff team based on the way they behaved. Because of desperation to fill that position, nothing has been done about these issues for the most part.

I tried to turn the team around, getting to working but I was out of power. So I left the team.

In all honesty, I think that the majority of the staff team are rock cool people, they are friendly, nice, respectful. However, when it comes to the critical part of filling a position half of them are completely irrelevant to the success of Zone.

PigParty, I think you do a good job at what you do because support tickets from Zone are way better than Classic, Zone and Delteria combined. There are some high staff, that are merely there for the power and not for the success of zone. There are also some very stupid staff teams such as, "Dev Coordination" as I don't feel that they do anything because they are never active, and there the specific teams that would do the work instead. For example, Shmegg would never do a level, a graphic or anything because Zone has respective teams for that with a team leader, thus making Shmeggs and Cassie's position useless, and not beneficial for Zone.

Also, with some of the ZPs it's clearly evident that they don't do anything, rarely reply to PM's about in game help, (on the bright side, the two new ZPs are very good, they've responded to my report within seconds) but some of the other ones I don't feel that they pull their fair share of weight

Finally, in terms of the staff team I think that Zone desperately and critically needs an overhaul. You need to find other people who are more competent to lead a team, someone who's very active etc. This will spark some light into Zone again.
