I'm not too competitive and my hope was I would be able to complete my pokedex and catch pokemon all across the world when I am travelling, so I hope it's really fixed before I start.

I am sort of lucky in the sense that my town has 3 memorials nearby so 2 connect as stops and everyone drops lures but I still get the same 3-5 pokemon, I meet a lot of cool people and even went on a few dates here(she picked Team Valor, I'm Mystic so hoping things work out) since it's near water so that's probably the only thing I enjoy about it so far, had around 20 people here tonight and even a few police officers.

Also hope they fix walking/eggs, hate having my phone open and draining battery, buying the wristband for it so hopefully that connects in some way and I won't need my phone on anymore.

you probably didnt knew there was a smoking hut near your house without pokemon go

Been collecting a lot of Karps. So close but so far.

The Texas Rangers Ballpack Stadium is 5mins from me and it has 5 lures together. And it is near the water.
So it is great
Once I finish the Karps. I will move onto the growlithe. Which I heard they spawn in a park next to my city.

I am so glad I caught a gyrados without having to evolve my Karps sweet tapdancing Christ

eh, evolving is the name of the game until you get your levels high enough. the pokemon themselves dont matter imo

Yeah but why invest in powering up and evolving pokemon if you're just going to find stronger ones in the wild anyways?

That's another problem I have with the game. In the actual Pokemon games pokemon that are caught at low levels and raised will always be stronger than wild pokemon of the same level. They didn't translate this to Pokemon Go at all, there seems to be very little reason to actually invest in your Pokemon.

evolve for exp and then continue to transfer as usual imo. ur not really gonna use the candy for anything else.

i dunno, after i found out how the combat is in this game i kind of lost interest. they had a good chance to make this into something better

Yeah can practically take any gym since you can just dodge every attack, not really a combat system IMO

so far investing stardust into my starter Squirtle hasn't been too bad, just wish I could catch more of them because they rarely spawn here, I've seen players who live near nests where 3 starters spawn at once with 1 of them being fully evolved, life isn't fair :(

I don't care for gyms but I do want to complete all my badges, you need 1000 gym battle wins and to train 1000 times for the gold badges so I will probably get a friend on the opposite team and just go back/forth with them to get the count up

Gyms are too easy to take.

Yeah looks pretty lame.

I feel they want the battle system to more fast paced but its looks really boring.
