I don't know. I think it's overrated as heck. Okabe annoyed the **** out of me every time he called himself "Mad Scientist Okabe!"

The characters may not fit to some people, but the plot is just amazing. I was just stunned by how much thought was placed into it. The plot itself was pretty much gives it what it deserves and isn't as bad as some mainstream ones that people praise to hell with (SAO, Tokyo Ghoul, AoT etc.)

Steins;Gate is also in my top 10 favorites. i personally thought the characters were perfect. a lot of people hate Miyori, but i like her. and i found the "mad scientist" stuff quite comical.

I dislike how much they force the characters. Also it is a very slow show

It is extremely slow, I think one concert took 4-5 episodes.

Second season comes out in April. I would assume it would be 12 episodes as well.
