i cannot bring myself to spend $50 on 50 packs, though as a hunter this expansion looks promising. unfortunate blizzard is so greedy

Should be decent enough if you do daily's frequently... Hunter's might be a tiny bit better now with the bucaneer nerf, still seeing quite a bit of face warrior's which hunter prob loses to 60% of the time though. They're way too slow to nerf stuff having a whole expansion of a useless class is a horrible job done by them

im going to dust all my LOE, BRM, and TGT legendaries as soon as they rotate out so i can craft the new stuff.

Price of packs in the shop increases conveniently at the same time Blizzard announces that there will only be expansions this year...hmm

The previous thread about hearthstone was closed but I'm curious if anyone here still plays this game.
I only really play wild and basically only play hunter, but I've been getting into it more lately and hit legend pretty recently too.
no idea how the standard meta is right now but I'd imagine demon hunter is still screwing with it.

I don't play much Hearthstone anymore, but I am really getting into Magic the Gathering. Specifically mtg Arena. Maybe when all this virus madness cools down I can do some actual Friday night magic.

I haven't played Hearthstone for several years now, wasn't a fan of the direction it was going but I still have some fond memories of playing it. What's changed, besides new expansions? I'd say I stopped playing in 2017 or so at the latest.

I know they made it more accessible for returning players by letting you have a free deck if you haven't played for a while but I don't actually know many details of it.
There's a new mode called battlegrounds that's very similar to auto chess/team fight tactics which I'm not a fan of but I know people are into that.
obviously there are the new expansions and the team behind the game are releasing nerfs/buffs more frequently now which is good when something overpowered is found.

I still play a bit of arena and have been playing battlegrounds. Arena feels easier than used to be.

Battlegrounds is fun as a sort of "I can play this while I do something else" sorta thing.

I haven't played that game in awhile. Used to watch someone stream it a couple years ago, but now I can't build a deck for the life of me. What exactly does Battlegrounds entail?

battlegrounds is hearthstones auto battler mode which is pretty similar to teamfight tactics or autochess and doesn't require you to build a deck or anything like that

it's pretty fun but I usually just stick to ranked and arena
