I dunno, man, before I evolved my eevee I kept saying out loud to my phone that I wanted a jolteon and lo and behold it evolved into a jolteon. I think it listens.

cp increase from haunter to gengar is only 1.56x

which means gengar is pretty much garbage cp wise unless you get insanely lucky.
I have a 461 haunter which will end up being only around 700cp as gengar.

Really sad cus gengars damage output could have been pretty insane

This is what i'm working with at level 18. CP could be much higher but right now i'm saving my stardust for when i'm in the 20s and find really good stuff.
