the sparrers who develop theories about what works best are so weird. you clowns overthink it so much. best team usually wins, "chemistry" is a joke, explain how 1st-time sage team (tae, yurhomi, blake, papyrus, and jiggy) beat down too-many time champions US (me, nite, kouji, vlad, yellow) with your chemistry. better sparrers will naturally perform better than those worse than them. try too hard to work together and you're probably gonna end up scattered everywhere panicking or ganged up on in a corner.

We developing theories the same way you are. I'm aware they're exceptions to everything. It's an opinion, but we all have what works for us. Teamwork is useful to make things smoother, but of course it's not needed like you said. But from my own experience I've come to see how vital it can be. They're many scenarios to this topic that we can dissect but I'm speaking from my own experience in my own opinion.

I'm really not I'm just stating based of what happened. Rebellious placed 1st and almost place it again with the same team. Once you joined they didn't go as far. I'm not saying you're bad, your style just didn't compliment that team that's all I'm saying, not trying to offend you or start another argument here.

rebellious lost to silver who were playing amazing and should have been 2nd place (DoT was surely a fluke qes is god awful). i personally have never viewed rebellious as a great team (no offense friends) and think they did great last gst. they aren't a consistent 1st-2nd place team in any way (placed like 2 times out of way too many), idk why you are viewing them as such. they have always been "underdogs", not guildsparring lords. an underdog team losing to a top 3 team last gst is my fault, when i didn't even do bad??? they would have won without me? no way, silver and predation were insanely good. your post was an obvious jab at me, you shouldn't be trying to start another argument here, you wouldn't win.

@Fro, curious as to why you list SL as #1, seeing as how nobody else did. Not a jab at any of them, I like all of those guys, just curious why you went so far Fro.

I don't think it's an argument either one of us could win. Too much factors around it. Yea I'm not saying you did bad. I just think it would've went a lot smoother with lia cause she adds a more aggressive factor to the team. She kinda pushes them further. And I'm not trying to jab you, I was just replying to Lias statement and I personally believe they have a higher chance with the team they won with.

I think SL has been putting in a lot of practice, and I think I with many other people want to see other teams start winning on both fields. Although alumni is strong enough to take it once again, part of me would love to see some new faces.

Guild spar isn't an individual work at its core just because you didn't play bad individually you could of play like a bad teamate which ruins the coordination... Some people can just join in together and naturally just play well together! You can stay last alive for your team all you want and have 2.5 but if you're alone versus 4 have fun clutching leaving your team in a 4v5 the whole time.

comyt your not even considered a good sparrer in 2016 in my opinion. I've been sparring a lot and winning on PC and idevice. I think if you queued while i was streaking I'd just roll over you in 10 seconds with a few combo's. You haven't been the same since 2012.

DoT wasn't a fluke. Noss and Bobby carried the team, dia did pretty good. I got 2-6 hits every spar because I'm "god awful" on an iPad. Faye got 1-5 hits. This is the first gst i didn't carry my team or be 2nd best on my team. I've always made underdog teams. sorry i didn't join US with you and beat win with no competition for a year. classic sparers are delusional and only pay attention to gst.

actually "me in 2016" only consists of a few spars in january and the only person who gave me trouble was my own member, shiden. noss (also my own member) would be in 2nd place and i was beating him pretty easily. it seems more like you haven't seen me sparring since 2012.

also nobody ever wanted you to join US. i've been told you are spreading that, which is very wrong. only players considered for US were hmong, noss, and greenarrow. not "spiderman" lmao.

also funny seeing that gst had "no competition" from the dude typing illiterate essays about how spar is awful these days. there was way more competition back in the day and you know it. it seems evident that competition in sparring is pretty damn dead seeing as the great qes, not even a top 25 idevice of all time, is sparring so good against all these complete scrubs that he gained the confidence to think he would "roll over me" (the top idevice of all time).

another jab: if you want to see "delusional" try checking your statuses calling yourself an offensive sparrer and claiming that i never was one. you don't even leave the wall and you know i'd combo you to hell every time we sparred. all-time offensive sparrers include me, noss, maybe super, and that's about it. R.I.P. to your favorite status.

there wasn't a single thing you said that i agree with. I used to think 2012 had a lot more competition when all i thought about was device sparring. but now i don't ask or care what device people are on and clearly there are much better sparers now then there were in 2012. Zid, brett, jack, war hawk, ect. 20x better than you. And comyt let me know when you actually want to get online and spar me rather then tell me how your false opinions about myself like you always do lmfao. And if you never want to spar me i could care less your irrelevant now anyways. You and thallen have similar opinions about me yet i never talked to or sparred either of you in the past year.

if you want to ask people about my sparring skills, ask contego t3ck jack war hawk brett or anybody else logical who i sparred often the past month. I'm sure they wont tell you all positive things but I'm sure they'll say I'm faaaarrrrr from god awful. Plus comyt you're gunna be sparring in the idevice gst forever never actually sparring people better than you so have fun with that.
