What's with this tie bs were we have 1.5 and .5 and they had 1 and we tied

This is not true , if you want go watch the stream video and you'll see health was equal. Either way this is a poor excuse , your team got a free win when a ******ed admin warped in someone who we didn't want to spar in and we didn't spar the round but they still gave you the win...

Tbh that match should have not been as long as it was , silver gst team kinda did bad this gst , we had a constant mess about in the team which I think lead to a major loss in chemistry within the team. This can be seen though the countless times we tied matches when realistically we should have won't them.

But I rather not dispute it as its in the past now , good job to RD honestly didn't expect them to do as good as they did, probably because I didn't see them spar at all before gst day so good job ! Congrats to all the people who won their first gst!

Also big up to bool , although they didn't win they was defo the underdogs this gst team as they beat trolling which I wasn't expecting one bit despite their inactivity.

Tbh not much of a shock RD won Darkk carried his team well and finally got his first W in GST in what I believe was the most competitive guild spar tournament yet, Same for Holy despite having Rainmaker and John as core they manage to beat out Skulls team.
Really shocking to see Callum and dens team losing too silver after trash talking For so long and not even manage a spot on the podium, from the looks of it should have been Silver Vs RD in finals Based on what I seen.

Well they had to help him feel better about his :belt
So instead of carrying him on the bench, they carried him in core.
:]

Uploading full to youtube then I will prob do seperate videos as well.

If you all could help with timestamps on this link I would appreciate it a lot, it's a lot to go through:

https://www.twitch.tv/205tv/v/103550469

Not sure anyone on here cares about these, but I have the timestamps because I wanted to check how I did

Matrix vs Immortal - 00:46:05
Matrix vs RS - 1:43:40
Matrix vs Amity - 2:19:20

James205 11-27-2016 02:41 AM

Also semi/finals should not have time limit, it's pointless imo

Thank you

If others could search their times it would be faster for me to upload individuals after i get whole gst out

Also I think this is Idev last gst! I'm sure next gst Idev and mixed will be merged into one single tournament. This is apparent though the cut down of 64 to 32 Idev teams slowed to enter Idev gst.

I think this will bring a new level of competition towards the tournament though and can't wait so see what the best merge between Idev and mixed players will continuously now dominate the tournament.

Darkk 11-27-2016 02:54 AM

@James, some teams would spar for hours so nah.
Should keep idev and mix separate, pcs have an advantage with speed on diagonals, overall two tournaments is better.

I was planning on conserving hp, and playing super cautiously. Judging how in previous gsts that never worked out for me, and teammates advising me that I needed to play more aggressively, I ended up doing just that and it definitely paid out.

Whereas in past gsts my head was always filled with "don't mess it up for your teammates.", I didn't care enough for this one, so I was completely calm throughout the whole tournament. Maybe I was so sure that the team would win that I didn't see any flaws. Thus, making me feel relatively little to no pressure, enabling me to outperform myself, when I really needed to.

This was my best tourney. 2-3 years ago, my team could have probably 4v5ed in finals without me, and still would have won. Definitely come a long way. 85/58 overall, and 26/23 in the finals. I was definitely not pulling in these numbers in previous gsts. Couldn't have done it without my teammates though.

The competition in this game is highly skill-based, but psychological as well.
One slip-up, and it could have easily gone towards neidomu. They were a really tough team.
Glad it was my last tourney, ggs.
