Co implies equality thus you would have two co-owners. If they are not to be equal, you would use an owner and an assistant owner or similar.

By having an owner then implying the co-owner is lesser is terrible practice and needs to die.
Talked to Johan and found out that Entrok actually did pay for part of the server so I guess we're using the term correctly. Thanks for your input :)

So then they should be co-owner and co-owner: not owner and co-owner, right?

I'm fairly sure that whichever came first does not have to be co-. Originally Johan paid for the entire server and was the Owner but then Entrok helped pay to resubscribe and become the Co-Owner. It would make more sense but I don't think it's technically required.

Does he officially partly own the content or is it just a namesake. If thats the case, call him an investor. If he is a part owner, they both become part owners.

He legitimately owns the content of the server along with Johan.

Then they're both co-owners. I'm not so sure why thats so hard to understand. There can't be one co-owner, co means two. Either make there position both co-owner or both owner.

holy **** call them gobbleshizzle and fizzywigs, does it really matter what their titles are as long as they do what they are supposed to? its not like it really effects the server what they are called.

That's actually incorrect. Co- can symbolize that they became equal to them later and that the person without co- has been in that "position" longer.
