I don't mind what they do either way… Merging tournaments would only make it harder for everyone to win, and I'm all for competition
Not merging tournaments would give guilds a chance to win both, so I can't be mad about that

If they do end up merging then I can tell you that there won't be some team of the 5 best PC sparrers… I don't really enjoy that, plus most of the best Mixed GSers are inactive or don't do anything else other than the GST so they won't be very useful for points in the new system

I'd personally try to enter with people like Kosiris and maybe TeK or something, GST teams will probably be completely different because it won't be worth it to have inactives in your guild

RD beat immortal 10-8, we went undefeated vs Whitebeard core, beat Skull's team when they were sparring for points 3-2 (we paused once.) We would more than likely beat every pc team except Holy.

I’m pretty sure we’ve already previously established that you’re a special needs case, so I’ll try and explain this as simply as possible. Just because in practise conditions you beat a team that had some of the players from our team does not mean you would beat the actual core team in a finals scenario. If you seriously cannot comprehend the difference between practise and finals then or between a core team and practise team then theres really no hope for you. If we had faced your team in the GST there is genuinely no realistic scenario in which your team would win.

I think the better pc players like Thallen, Brett, David and Dante make it a little unfair, just my opinion.

One of those players doesn’t belong in the same sentence as the others if you’re talking about GSing/GST performances.

brett sucks

u idevicers have been raiding and participating in the mixed tourny for years now that they wanna join yours and make it universal you say no??? check your privilege

Darkk 11-28-2016 10:25 PM

@Dae, considering how you blew up raging after we beat you, it was evident that you were trying (going for points.) Calling idevices "speed hackers" lol, special needs huh. Wasn't ur team, but you had 4/7 plus Dante. The only advantage neiehfnakdjdhnsj would have over us would be David and Zid. The rest of you don't utilise pc movement, the spar would be close/50-50.

Considering we were close to 2:1 vs Amity in practice, it demonstrates how practice does account for something outcome wise come GST.

Really interesting GST this time around, a lot of good teams participated. Congratulations to Holy on deservedly winning the finals, we had a few opportunities to time out and win by HP. Unfortunately we couldn’t capitalise on them as Thallen was doing really well and managed to bail his team out of trouble. Also think there was some poor sportsmanship by one of the players on their team in the final to throw up the belt even after being carried by his team mates for the majority of the rounds but it's whatever.

Sportsmanship is when participating in a sport, not graal. Wouldn't except you to distinguish the two anyways, special needs huh

Mixed GST was never supposed to be PC exclusive. Mainly because when this all started, there were hardly any PC players around to have a full tournament-- hence why Mixed GST has always been 32-team, and iDev GST 64-team. But now that there's a larger PC playerbase, if you all want to change the "Mixed" GST to PC only, go ahead, iDevs wont care.

From reading that it doesn’t seem as though maths or even basic comprehension is within your ability. But I’ll reply, just on the off chance you can actually understand something for once. We had about 10 different players alternating between spars, I’m certain you didn’t even face the same team twice. From a few practise spars to then go on to say that you’d be the core team in GST conditions is just another level of stupid, that I didn’t even think you were capable of. To even think they’re comparable is ******ed. Your team would get slaughtered if you faced us in a GST it’s not even a discussion. Not even Kicko and Noss would be able to carry your dead weight then.

Oh, I’m so sorry. I wasn’t aware that you’re a frequent PC sparrer who now gives advice on how others utilise their “pc movement” (LOL?). Also, to say that in terms of GST performances Brett belongs in the same category as Dante, Thallen and David is just plain stupid. He basically went 15-24 in the GST finals and consistently does badly in GST conditions. The belief that Brett is somehow a top three or four GSer genuinely has no basis in reality.

What hits did the rest of your team get in finals?

This was made before your correction, and instead of 55 hits for 2nd match it's 54, because their 5th man warped out. Someone registered 2 hits on him, after the match though. For finals with my 6th hit taken, that makes it 113/113 and not 113/112.

brett sucks

He was so good at distracting everyone. He made the enemy teams scatter a lot. He usually always gets mvp during scrims too.

Darkk 11-28-2016 10:57 PM

Dead weight? I had a 1.2+ ratio in both big spars. Correction: We wouldn't necessarily win, but we wouldn't get slaughtered lol. Dead weight is you sitting in a corner providing zero teamwork, hits aren't exactly everything. If I'm correct you also choked in the clutch, I tied out my 1v3.

Pretty sure Brett enters for fun, doesn't take graal as seriously as yourself. Who cares if he did bad, he beat you. Also what Aguzo said about him drawing attention contributes. Someone count this clowns hits, doubt he did anything good. In Blackout my hit ratio was better than his in the finals lol (idev)

TBH if the GST's merge I couldn't care less, still would be fun.

EDIT:

I think iDevs can hold their own in Mixed...we've seen it over past few seasons...People like PT, Toich, Kicko and Sarah have done good in Mixed...Even that one GST Abood did in Mixed he done pretty good too. I wouldn't mind a merger if it brings about competition and makes the top 32 teams the best 32 teams so all the matches from the get-go are all close.

Darkk 11-28-2016 11:03 PM

@Dae, in round 1 vs Holy you provided zero teamwork, letting eko die. Dae had the chance to clutch 3x and didn't win once lol, dead weight. Everyone has bad gsts, no need to single someone out, this is karma

Sawyer 11-28-2016 11:03 PM

How is it unfair if they are that good lol
