I'm probably missing the actual +1 from the update, or more like why it was needed, but...why...why did Classic need this. I was pretty content with the game before.

It was added to benefit those who don't like pk and want to stay out of the fight so those who do can pk as they want meaning the map may go full pk, benefitting both parties.

So, killing people lowers your AP. But if you kill bandits, (The NPC ones) they aren't people anymore, since they raise your AP? FloridaOranges told me the pyrat Bay quest raised it by 2 he thought.

But isn't immature of the PC players to say we are stupid even though they regularly play iClassic?

The recently added alignment system has caused nothing but trouble, and does nothing to improve the game.

First off, you punish players for pking. We can't heal from beds/pots anymore, high ap players get invulnerability. We can only kill other pkers now, and we get punished for it. Pking has always been one of the best features on Graal, and it has been slowly removed over time. No-pk zones have slowly been creeping throughout the map, and admins have even banned players without warning for pking others when they're farming in a public area such as the grotto. now the ap system punishes pking. It should be the opposite, we should get rewarded for pking.

Secondly, it's being exploited beyond control. people will get 100 ap, then just block doors, being extra careful not to kill someone to lose their ap.

It's like the game is trying to be turned into a giant social hub where all you do is buy gralat packs and wear hats. It's truly a shame to see such a great game being destroyed.

AP makes nothing extraordinarily terrible. Saints are not invincible, they are mearly immune to sword damage, and since they don't show interest in PKing, just makes things easier for them to get from point A to point B. Secondly the lower you AP the faster it regenerates. If a player were to have less than 30 AP they can quickly re-obtain it by not PKing or by completing the pyrat bay quest. And finally, since you are severely distraut by an update to a game on your iDevice, I found this for you

The amount raised varies depending on your current AP, if your AP is very low it will be raised by more than two.

If you get disconnected because of not moving for a time, your AP will drop by 30.

That doesn't sound right.

We can only kill other pkers now

Haha what? That's the best part. I always get annoyed when I try to walk to a new town or area, and tons of people block the path and attack me. I don't want to PK, I just want to explore! The AP system allows peaceful players to not be bothered by PK'ers, and fighters to fight fairly with other fighters. Someone with higher AP and is fighting will probably lose AP quickly and fight under the same parameters soon enough.

I don't know where everyone is getting this "social hub/hat shop" idea from. Being sainted (to me) is like saying "I don't really feel like dealing with people trying to bug me while I explore.."

Not healing with pots or beds is a little bit different. While it may make sense now, the news broadcasts state that there may be future quests that involve earning more hearts. With more HP, I see no problem in this or something similarly effective. (Other servers only let you respawn with a certain amount of HP depending on how much AP you have.)

The main goal of the AP system is to somewhat label players as dangerous or friendly.. Hence "good and evil".. This opens up so many more possibilities, I can see no reason why anyone would want to rid the server of the update unless he or she simply does not understand it. :)

Also, there are a few bugs in the system that can be worked out in time. I think players should act more constructive in this situation and send feedback messages to let staff know about any problems you might encounter. For example, I lost near 30 AP while doing nothing but sparring in Clops' guild house the other night. I never PK'ed, I only sparred. Small bug? Probably.

You lose AP when you win a spar against somebody with a neutral or higher AP. I'm unsure if that's a glitch or not.

I haven't lost any AP sparring yet. So yes it's a glitch.
