Everyone says that GTA, Cod, and all that is bad for you, but couldn't it be good for you, showing you what not to do in real life? That's how I got my parents to get me COD around age 13.

South Park was a part of many kids childhood back when I was in 5th grade. I'm talking about the original South Park that was violent and nasty just for the lols. It didn't have the sort of smart humor it does now.

Also, think of how many kids play rated M games. I wish I could find the statistics but it's probably in the hundreds of thousands. How many stories do you hear about kids doing something because of a game? A handful? The people who let these games influence them are people who either already unstable or aren't properly raised.

I'd be pretty god damn pissed if I couldn't play the M-rated games I did when I was under 18.

Granted, parents need to monitor/educate/set boundaries for their kids playing rated M games. Don't buy a kid a game without knowing what you're buying, and don't sit your kid in front of a game and never pay attention to what they're doing.

You know what, people mature at different ages, and if they made sure their kid understands that violence is bad and shouldn't be practiced in real life, as well as if they sat through the game with him and explained that the stuff that happens in there isn't real and shouldn't be made real.

They could've also had him acting, then took the game away from him after the video was filmed. There are several factors that could change whether this video truky shows bad parenting or not.
