Well that's how Updates to a Meta are there are the tiers of the guns even though it is a top gun the possibilities of competetive outcomes can still be equal depending on skill and knowledge of the gun by the player. Who knows maybe in the next Update to the meta something will out class APR's in different attributes

Well I believe a 18 clip plus more vunerability on reload would be a good balance

Reloading does nothing at all to spamming. Even if its a long reload, all they can do is simply change weapons if there smart or just get behind cover to reload. Plus all guns having the same reload time is nice.

Your out of ammo, you cant keep shooting unless you reload. If you're at the point where you know you're about to run out of ammo and have a weapon with a long reload. You got two options. Reload that weapon that has a longer reload, or not reload that weapon and switch to another weapon with a shorter reload time and start using that until its safe to use your primary.
Its in every shooting game ever made that you have a secondary. Your main rifle runs out of ammo in a firefight, 99% of people switch over to their secondary and take the much shorter time it takes to pull out your secondary and fire it. Unlike reloading your primary that usually takes 3 seconds. Also i have no clue if this is true to zone, but in era i know all weapons had a delay time when you pulled them out before you could fire them. |

The guns reloads are timed, meaning that for X amount of time you can't shoot if this event happens (running out of ammo in this case) if you already started the reloading animation, then theres no point of switching over to another gun and using up more additonal time. In graal you should only switch to your secondary if your primary is low on ammo and you haven't started the reloading animation. That saves a ton of time.
Dear lord if graals guns reloading mechanics were animationed based whew all the guns in eras reloads would be 2x as long. |
Inb4 it gets nerfed and Ghettoicedtea bitches about it being too underpowered for the price
