Because era's is increasing. It will surpass classic's player count, and that is a pro because it shows a level of success, and a con because of lag/spam/etc.

Classic's is increasing too?.. I understood why it was a pro and a con, but if you are going to say "high player count" as a pro or con for something, it should probably be for the server with the higher player count, not the server you think might one day have a higher player count.

Both could use a lot of work.

You cannot legitimately argue that era won't have a higher player count, and right now classic's technically isn't bigger, as they hover around the same count.

There's always place for improvements, both servers are really great and fun in my opinion. This thread is just like the Xbox vs Playstation war haha.

Until you present me with some sort of evidence that era's average playercount is rising at a faster rate than classic's, and enough to exceed classic's within the next few months, then I really don't see how you can argue that era will surpass classic. And keep in mind the thread title is "Has Era surpassed Classic", so this discussion is pointless anyway.

Classics average, and max playercount is higher than era's, yes it is "technically bigger".

From a player counts perspective: I say classic has a slight edge

From a in-game quality perspective: matter of opinion

from a making money perspective: i think era might make more money for ownership than classic.

From an importance perspective: I think classic is going to keep that title for a while.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I mean sure Wii U sales may not be great as of now and I can pick up an original Wii for like $50 but that doesn't mean much.
