I'd love to see YouTube delete fake/zombie subscribers and just see Pewdiepie drop 10m subs.

youtube doesn't work like that, if he dropped 10m subs that won't mean anything at all. All what that means is 10m fake accounts who are not watching his videos and contributing view count and time watched (the only things that matter and basically decides it, more views and higher minutes watched = more popularity) aren't doing anything at all. Sure it might take a hit on his ego but he is smart enough to know if google did a purge on fake accounts and he lost 10m subs that its not a huge deal because they aren't contributing.
Thats why youtube doesn't moderate fake accounts, because its pointless to do.
