I'm pretty sure everyone in SON knew they were towering for the fun of it and not to be hat chasers, so they are called.

I can't compare BFM to SoN because I've never been on their tag. I do know that they are usually on top of the daily guild hour leaderboards so they've worked harder than SoN before they finished.
That makes 0 sense. 1k hats are a reward for towering and receiving one takes all the fun out of towers?

SON had a 1k hat, 5k+ im not to sure about though.


Well yea the hat is a reward, but when people make so many guilds and only go to 1k that really isnt towering for the fun of it, it's just for the hat.

They only have 1k hat, that's why I said 1k-13k. they never got 5k hat and 10k mount. i knew a lead, he said kate is gonna pick 10k mount & 5k hat soon, but she never did and he quit helping SoN. Basically he wasted 3k+ hours on them.

She's giving it to herself and 11 other Kate Newbie accounts and Aidan and his 11 newbie accounts. Luckily the hat maker will get one :)

So joining 5 1k guilds isn't equivelant to joining a 5k guild? Sorry but whoever told you that was probably jealous of the people busting through guilds faster than he was.
The person towering decides whether it's fun, not you. I feel bad for you for limiting yourself from enjoying towering to the fullest just because of made up excuses.

You have no idea what you are talking about, and you have never experienced guilds how they were, or how they will ever be again. You have simply experienced a refined milking system. Long be the day guilds were something people were actually proud to wear the tag of.

Everybody has different enjoyment in this game. tbh doesn't matter if you do 5 1ks or if you do 10ks, whatever makes u happy should do.

For SoN members, I am pretty sure they were expecting to get a mount AND a hat, cause that's what a lead friend told me long time ago. That she was accepting graphics from people. They kept on after 10k because they thought she was making a list for 10k mount and she kept kicking inactive ones from the sub. Mostly a cycle of noobs.
If SoN MEMBERS(excluding Kate) really did it for FUN (Which is not. clearly), I think Kate should've made a separate tag to memorialize loyal members with her gratitude. So I will conclude my thought with SoN abused noobs.

For BFM, I think they are playing smart, they know 1k = 25 custom hats, rather than 5k = 50 custom hats. That's a smart choice. People are calling them a 'Hat chaser'. If that's a thing, I would call most of you a 'gralat cheater', cause I earned ALL of my gralats (including my gh, house, slot bought all of them from FB version with gralats) using pyrat quest, bug catching, loot hunting while most of you got your gralats from purchased them with real life money.

I doubt she constantly told everyone it was for fun otherwise the leads expecting the "mounts" as zetetic earlier said would have probably never carried on. I think it's just pathetic because it's not like she'll be using all accounts in fact she'll probably never log on some after it gets the rewards.
