The good side of the community that uses the Classic section has already stated they like me and support it, what's the point of hiring a moderator that isn't suppose to do anything?

It's more of a benefit to the community by making it a more enjoyable place than to let the bad apples ruin it for everyone. I don't see how this is even debateable, I'm not sure how often you browse the Classic section but moderation is definitely needed there.

I'm not here to get into any arguments so I'm going to leave it at that, whether you think it's a good choice or not isn't going to change much so there's no sense in debating this back and forth.

Now that pacman and the handful of people who blew up 10page arguments are gone, the censorship isnt quite as necessary. i dont mind threads going offtopic, especially if it becomes comical; but last week it got way out of hand.

I agree with you and I don't mind it either if it's not harmful or for a stupid reason, I'm here to make sure that we don't experience anything similar to last week.

I didn't ban him, normal moderators do not have ban rights. Yes we were.

I find it offensive you used the strike tag on the word **********, as a moderator on /r/********** I'm going to have to show them your post and engage in a 5000 comment argument about how disrespectful you are.

But in all seriousness, yeah give it time, one of the reasons I've been having to delete posts lately is because people are posting irrelevant and spam replies regarding me being a moderator(in a negative way) and stuff related to that I think when they get use to the idea it'll tone down a bit and thing's won't be as bad. (hopefully)

I like that when mods say stuff. I don't like the way Colin says stuff sometimes. But that's just human stuff , not a big deal. 1st responder had a good post, may our judges be unbiased and seek justice.

I personally dislike that Colin guy, but who can blame him? He is like that.

Before judging him as a forum moderator, I'd expect to give him time to see how he performs his job.

Maybe slow down on the removal of posts because sometimes it does seem close to censorship. That said I think Colin is a fantastic mod, and is doing what his job is on the site. Maybe if you guys followed the rules more often and didnt bicker anout everything your posts wpuldnt be removed.
