Why would you convince your friend to play Graal? That's like stabbing him...

My cousin introduced me to Graal but I thought it was crappy since it was just Pixels everywhere. I started playing once because I had nothing to do and now this all I play. Graal is a drug man.

"Don't judge a book by its cover."

My favourite quote fits perfectly in this topic. Thanks to this quote, I was able to do a lot of fun things, for example playing a MMORPG game that looks like a game for kids.

The cover of this game says nothing about Graal being a game for developers. Most ones have not noticed but thanks to Graal, many players learned to do graphic which can help them getting an idea for their future. I see some players leaving Graal to improve their graphic and to be honest, I am happy when I read that reason, so long as they are serious about it.

What I am trying to say is that you are doing it wrong. Give him your phone and make him play Graal, dont spoil to much but let him do everything by himself when he wants to. Show him Playerworld and teach him scripting.

As a side note, if he still doesnt like it, just give up. Not everyone likes anything.

Just tell people it's basically 'Zelda Online.' That's literally how I even found the game back in 1999.

If you look that up now on Google, Graal doesn't even show up because they haven't updated their website's tags and keywords for almost a decade.

I would be cautious. Studies have shown that, on average, people lose 3-5 friends everytime they mention "Graal" in a social environment.

Unfortunately this is not a friend that lives nearby. We're just good friends on Steam. So just putting it in his hands can't be done. I'm not going to try and get him to play it any more anyway, I think I've simply gotten to the point to where it just is annoying now and though we're not super bff's I'd rather not lose his friendship.
