I won hide and seek a long time ago and that was my prize.

I have loved dolls my whole life...why cant there ever be a category for the clothing? I mean we as doll CLOTHING designers should get somewhat recognized for our hard work. It makes me mad that only the painters and sculptors get praise. No disrespect to any of you Im just voicing my opinion. I try so hard over the last 7 years to make my doll clothes stand out and I even sell to the biggest names but when it comes to the award shows they fail to recognize the little people. I would love to have a glass trophy on my shelf or even the acknowledgement that they noticed.
I did contact DOTY and DOLLS a few times over the years and they always say "yeah that sounds like a good idea" but nothing EVER comes of it. Now were into another year of awards and still nothing. I always thought the clothing makes the doll because without a great outfit its just a doll. Sorry for the rant just gets me upset like this is really all for nothing. Ill never be a somebody in the world of where I want to be unless the judges agree.
