players like pazkez primel(sharing acct with 3 diff ppl + vpn), speedhackers (another thread) aren't still banned. but abood got warned? sparred him 3 times the other day, didn't see him lag at all. weird.

Shouldn't let those role-playing e-thugs that hang outside the Arena moderate sparring. Would prefer Fulgore and not those Zanza/Nightowl hippies. Majority of them have either never sparred or barely step foot inside the Mixed/Quick rooms.

I agree with you. How dare the Classic staff not be made up of sparrers who have been banned at least 4 times.

In all seriousness, that disconnect for "lagging too much" was not made by a GP that I know of.

Not all of us have much experience in spars and such, but we do approach or consult other staff who are when we are in doubt or dealing with cases that the player may seem to be delaying intentionally but we are not definite about it.

Just follow these rules

USA + Delay = Forced

Lag spiking constantly = warning (Let's them know that they shouldn't spar)
"Get closer to your connection or turn off all other devices using the same connection"

If you see a player having a huge amount of delay, check their ms, then check the average ms of other players living in the same country. Should let you know if it's forced.

Example, if 10 people from Australia are running at 180-220 ms, and then this one person is at 300-350... it's pretty obvious.

People living in rural areas like surge will have a higher ms and thats hard to determine whether they are intentionally increasing their latency.

Hopeful admins can code something that will disconnect people on vpn networks that enter spar rooms and towers.

I think its good that admins are doing something about people intentionally lagging. Don't see why they don't take surveys for each countries average showms and use that to make a lag cap. For example, the Australian lag cap could be 240ms, any Australian over that cannot queue.

what happens if u queue/in spar and ur lag spike up to 300ms? does it kick u out?

Its an example, I'm sure they would be more considerate. Doubt they would implement this let alone give it a thought. Imo its a good idea, if you lag above the average you shouldn't be sparring, you should be thoughtful of other sparrers that have to deal with your increased lag/delay.

The things people get banned over vs. what others definitely should be getting banned over (but don't) is and always has been pretty ridiculous

ISPs play a big factor here with wifi speed... so i dont think thatd be fair for some countries.

Also in regards to this thread ive been disonnected for my delay because admins thought it was lag...but in regards to my lag I dont mind there being lag limits tbh as I tend not to spar during the day when im laggy anyway and tend to do it mostly at night since sparring with lag isnt too fun.

I average 223-300ms, I live in a semi rural area so there is nothing I can do to stop it.
Don't no why any other admin besides fulgore is patrolling the arena most of them are zanza members who have never actually PLAYED graal.

Just be thankful u don't get banned and IP Banned for 3 months because an admin decided to monitor your pms without cause lol , graals population would drop a fair bit

I've been trying to get an explanation for this , so far every member of staff has ignored or directed me to the support email , which takes 2-3 days to reply and gives me a one line response. I doubt I will even get an explanation in the end , just "we cannot disclose this information with you"

If its a region issue just make spar rooms for different regions ex:

South american spar room

North american spar room

European spar room

Asian Spar room

African Spar Room

Oceana Spar room.
