SUPER MEGA BUMP! I'm unsure if this is allowed, but I do have something to make this discussion more relevant.

So I have almost finalized my PC part list. All I need to do now is decide whether or not to get the GTX 1070, or an AMD 480. I don't care about brands much, all I want is "the most bang for your buck." The 1070 seems nice, the 480 seems to be really nice. Alternatively, are there any other graphics cards I should get instead? I'm not looking to do an SLI setup due to the lack of support and amount of issues they seem to have.

Really the amd 480 and the 1070 are really good bang for the buck, personally I would get the 480 since I dont plan to do 4k gaming and its only 250 for the 8GB version but its up to you.
