It's pretty simple actually, if you make it from scratch it is not an edit.

Hey there friend, I can see you're probably newer to pixel art, so I decided I'd try to help out a bit with some cc. The colors are too dark imo, making it hard to see where colors are transititioning as well as where the shading is, so I would lighten the colors. The halo above the helmet as very jagged and unsmooth, making it seem like less of a halo. The shading was either inexistent or very random if you could make it out between the dark colors. Anyways that's pretty much all I saw and you should keep practicing, it was pretty good overall. :)


Here's a tiny edit I did, I tried my best to keep the shape and idea of the hat even though it's not that great of an edit.
