@4lom, stupid idea to show the amount of gralats someone has purchased on their account. People like Striken (already gets bullied daily) would be publicly humiliated. He currently has 1 million gralats, probably spends his entire wage (full time gfx artist for graal) on gralat packs.

I have more than 20 hat pages and around 2000 furnitures. I'm aware that jealous little people harass others... but they are the minority.

Also, given the nature of Graal, I feel like displaying those sort of statistics would bring new life to bullying and harassment which is already really common on Graal.

Honestly, this idea was sort of meant to reduce bullying. People would have the option to hide all stats entirely, or to show off the stats that they're proud of. Since some players are bullied for spar record and that sort of thing, this allows for hiding that.

Also, on a similar vein of conversation, there was a topic raised suggesting that the gani in the profile be altered... other than run/sword swing, maybe pogo/bounce ball/umbrella/juggle that could be selected from the player's personal selection?

Now that's a much better/easier idea that could and should be implemented.

Just like the last guy that wanted private stats; no it's not needed. If players have an issue with your stats then you have multiple options to prevent that:

• PM's Set to Friends Only
• Report/Block
• Set Public Chat to Friends/Guild Members Only

Or simply improve ur stats xd

I remember you posting this a while ago, I still support it because this is the type of experience that Classic plays best towards. Graal is very casual and simple, and I don't think it needs to be complicated with new gameplay elements. I just feel like they could capitalize on the things we already have and make them a little more intricate and interesting. That's why I've been pushing for the whole guild remake thing a lot, I feel like that will create an entirely new experience without really changing how the game is played.

Rufus expressed interest in some type of achievements system and I really wish Classic had that. Gaming and gaming culture in general has changed a lot in the past 10 years. We're basically robots who value statistics and bragging rights over some deep and immersive gameplay experience now. As in, if you were to simply break up baddy killing into additional statistics that show how many of each baddy type you've killed, you know there would be a bunch of people immediately interested in being "the #1 spider baddy killer" and such.

I can actually recall several players quitting specifically because the all-time leaderboards were removed (although I do see the reasoning behind why that happened). That's proof that people care about that stuff and use them to set goals and make incentive for themselves to play and participate in the actual gameplay elements of Graal rather than just sitting around. An achievement system and a deeper statistics system would do well for iClassic. I don't really have much to say about the bullying thing, I feel like a fair amount of that already goes on. If I tab into my iClassic tab right now, there's probably someone getting laughed at in the BA lobby. It's probably just unavoidable due to the casual/social nature of the game.

Anyway, I think this sort of thing offers an element of replayability that Classic kinda needs. The guild system, achievements, and more repeatable content (specifically repeatable quests for guilds, marriage partners, etc.) are probably at the top of my list of things I wish we had. The last two things that were added to iClassic that fall in line with that thought process were the treasure maps and Crab Chance. I feel like those did a pretty great job of adding long-lasting play value.

"#1 lizardon killer" sounds cool

Yeah, every now and then I post some sort of suggestion along these lines in hope that it gets some traction, being that outside of the GST, the competitive scene is so stale. The last time I suggested achievements, I spoke to Rufus and he said something along the lines of it not being worth it to allocate so many resources to such a small part of the community (the competitive playerbase), so I tried to think of something that might make the game a little more exciting and fun to play for everyone. You're right about Graal not necessarily needing new gameplay elements, but capitalizing on the ones that they have and giving them more significance would probably be beneficial to the community. I'm not sure if the guild system revamp is still in the works because I haven't been around for quite some time, but hopefully it comes with something along these lines.

Perhaps an option to see how many spar wins/losses you have against an individual player. Pks as well.

I like the win/loss ratio against an individual i sounds great for the ego
