I like how the map is a bit tidier. Might be nifty to have glowy icons that reveal place names/info when hovered over. Not that this would easily translate into touch screens... but it would reduce clutter even more. Also neat would be a way to 'zoom' a bit and see the terrain in an area in more detail.

I like the new areas. I think an even bigger mountain behind snow town mountain, with a river (or even sea) valley between the two mountains, would be awesome. On top of that, please add ice cliffs in the mountains and add ice climbing equipment so the mountains are easier to explore and less out of the way. That way, you can add cliff climbing without having to worry about people accessing inaccessible areas.

Chilling in a snowy riverbank in a canyon between the base of 2 tall mountains way off in the outermost corners of the map would be pretty mesmerizing.

New map is very nice, especially love the rainbow gralat at nexus. Why did you add back the option to view all players though?

Functions are awesome, love being able to turn off specific parts of the map.
