There were some good ones in the machine and i went for it

The 2500 pack is 0.99 which is essentially 1 dollar. 2.5k x 4=10k. It would take 4 gralat packs (of the 2500 variant) to get the 10k for the capsule spin. The 1 dollar multiplied by the 4 packs you'd need is 4usd, give or take a few cents.

Every time you spin that capsule machine, you're paying 4 bucks for a random chance at an item you might not even want. Or if you do bounty daily, 10 days of work (a week and 3 days.) Lets say you take 30 minutes per bounty on average, thats 300 minutes. Thats about 5 hours.

Every time you spin that capsule machine, you're either paying about 4 dollars, 5 hours of your time, or a mix of both to get a randomized item you might not even want and gives no gameplay bonus besides a somewhat awkward .gif effect.

To put this into further perspective, if the 4 dollars makes the same value in gralats as the 5 hours of working on bounty/farming, then one hour of your work on stuff is equal to less then a dollar in game currency value. Correct me if i'm wrong please.

I took the time to actually check out how many items were in the capsule machine. Theres 6 items you can get from a capsule machine. Thats 1/6. and if i'm not mistaken, thats about a 16.66% chance you pull the item you want.

To recap, you're paying either 4 dollars or 5 hours of your time (a mix of both maybe) for a 16.66% chance at a purely cosmetic item that used to be like 2.5k and got a .gif effect and was added to this new capsule machine. All of this in a game where foreigners have delayed hitboxes, servers lag so bad you can't load profiles, and there's been no guild rewards system for around 2 years because theres been a new one "almost done." (for 2 years.)
All of this because you have this "graal addiction." Get ur **** together lol

Also guys keep in mind that these 10k gralat capsule items are basically the old hats that used to be sold at this location for much cheaper. The only difference is they were "reshaded" but look worse.

Of course i'm kidding though. This is, like every other update, a major upgrade to the game by the developers who do no wrong. Ever. If they DID do wrong, they would correct their mistakes. But since I never see them correct anything, I have to assume they make no mistakes. I'm ecstastic rn, to the point where I can't even breathe because this update is so good. We don't need a new guild system. We don't need actual content. We don't need playable servers. we need to take existing hats, remove a few pixels, and resell them in a randomized capsule machine for triple the price. That's what we needed, and the devs delivered. I'd say I'm impressed, but i've come to expect that level of high quality content from this team.

You deserve a gold star

"Waaah we want new content"

"New content takes time"

"Why are they releasing hats and accessories? Aren't they working on new content?"

"Only some artists are required for content - tilesets, NPCs, and other odds and ends have less time requirement than the coding."

"Waah we want new content..."

coding actually does not take time at all. The developer or coder whoever in charge of it isn't doing their job. Just because their volunteer staff they still have to do the job right otherwise give it up and let us do it.

Master Shredder 04-06-2018 04:55 PM

Because there is no point in taking up space in a Limited Allowed Amount of Volunteer job. This isn't volunteering to build a charital trust which takes thousands of people. THis is the Volunteering to do something so you can get something free or receive said reward for volunteering which usually limits the amount of volunteers meaning you better be doing it right.

That's how they make their gralats, Have kids with literally no life ( Not trying to be offensive, But in literal term just kids who basically have close or if not all day, every day to do what they want) and have them work for hours on end. To try and farm around 2000 every 2 hours. Kids get annoyed because for 2 hours of work that's slightly ridiculous. For 2000 you can get like maybe 1 table and 4 decent 250 worth chairs. Or a bunch of super cheap things from swamp town. All for all the gralat income vs time spent is slightly ridiculous. Which is why most people buy gralats instead of farming or looting anymore.

Who has any experience with actual coding for actual products in any mobile marketplace, raise your hands. Then explain why it takes a long time to get anything done while mitigating droves of complaints about the previous content that was rushed out on a deadline and/or produced by some one else with a less than complete understanding of the script or engine you're using...

I have an Understanding of GS2 in my own time sir. Thanks to Dan(previous era dev)'s information and my own time with player worlds. But still It doesn't matter how long it took or takes to code something. When I am going to change something in a server or game I have to of course test the compatibility and so on. But I Do Not Remove game mechanics I am going to replace and then start my work on the replacement. I first make the replacement then Remove the existing content.*Cough Cough*Guild rewards system removal *cough cough*

hack wheeze railroads

Master Shredder 04-10-2018 01:47 PM

Not even a code required issue

hack wheeze railroads

That's not even an issue that regards programming, scripting or coding skills. The railroad works when you relogin, etc. Therefore thats actually just a server problem, either finding out whats causing the function to not load properly, or what would need to be removed etc. is what thats about. Unless its a script error i guess?
