seems logical

Better make sure that it all goes according to plan (or better) for some other ppl, then. That way the logic is less sound.

I grinded for gifts, I had about 56, I got only 4 hats and 2 Juggles.

Christmas presents are simply just lootboxes, knowing this should make it pretty obvious to you that you're mostly going to get bad things.

Main thing I don't understand is why you'd spent a lot of money on this game when there's entire threads dedicated to complaints and the way christmas presents work was already known, but it's your money I guess.

I grinded gifts, spent like 50$ cause I had it freely to spend. I racked up Tons of food, 64 furniture, 46 hats, 38 accessories, 15 juggles, 10 mounts, 8 bouncy balls, 3 kickups, 1 hula hoops, and 1 umbrella.
Also I ended with like 250+ gifts, I got a lot of donations from my guild members and Jasmine <3.

Personally, I'd say this is pretty okay, and my opinion on this situation is you knew you were gonna a lot worse crap because you got more gifts. Less gifts less food. I got like 100 food, and oh well. I didn't care. Now although people got to glitch and didn't spend money does suck, oh well. I mean life isn't fair, the goes on a game to.

Please make this apparent if you have not already, OP.

Don't spend money for cosmetics and useless stuff in video games. Games are meant to be played for free and to entertain, you shouldn't ever use real money, ESPECIALLY for Graal...

I'm sure you are well aware of the problems with this game, so why would you support something that hasn't been fixed in many months or years?

I won't argue if you flame back at me, because the fact that you spend real money on Graal says quite enough about your mentality.

Now I’m wondering if the devs are supposed to be putting appearance rates for hats, food, furniture, etc. for gifts, because gifts technically are lootboxes. (Edit: I also checked the slot machines and they also don’t have appearance rates.) Would Classic’s gifts/slot machines in their current state be violating the App Store’s requirement to provide appearance rates?

For reference:

“Apps offering “loot boxes” or other mechanisms that provide randomized virtual items for purchase must disclose the odds of receiving each type of item to customers prior to purchase.”

There's most likely an equal chance for everything, no one just wants to accept the fact they're unlucky but rather pin the blame elsewhere.

Gifts aren't sold as 'lootboxes' to user that purchases them. They're sold as a gift to give to someone else and bought with in-game currency which can be attained through playing the game.

None of the in-app purchases (Customization options and Gralat packs) via the App Store (which that section applies to) are RNG so I don't believe there's a violation of app store policies there.

There's the initial roll where it decides whether the gift is an item, hat, accessory, furniture, food or gralats. There was about a 30% chance of getting food or gralats this year.

Then there's the secondary roll one which specific one you'll get based on the type of gift which all share the same chance.

4-Lom 12-30-2018 05:49 PM

Sooo getting 5 recolors of the same accessory was very bad luck?

Howl 12-30-2018 06:02 PM

many other games with stuff like this have an info button where the user can see the chances of getting certain items...i think it's standard in some countries. i.e. chance of food could be 30%, then hat 10%, mount 5%. allowing people to see this info in-game would be handy, even though gifts aren't 'classified' as proper loot boxes
