PC players are generally better, because graal was first released on the PC system, they have more experience and playing time

Too bad everyone is too tunnel visioned to realize this and thinks an extra 20fps makes them godlike

Neither sides will ever understand each other because they can never agree. That's why the rooms are needed to finally seperate the iDevice and PC users.

rooms separated because once again, pc is cheap and ipods want sparring to be fair.
no reason for pcs to want a pc only room, 1000 reasons for ipods to want their own.

Android software cant handle a constant multiplayer server like era or classic. Its much too weak.

Tyler 05-24-2012 04:24 AM

Decided to spar and it reminded me what sparring against PC is like. My hope for these rooms has just shot up.

EDIT: I posted on the incorrectish thread again. I guess it applies here.

Can you guys give some solid evidence that playing on a pc has advantage to iPhones? The only one I can see is that on a keyboard you can move diagonally. But, iPhone players were given a small speed boost to compensate, if im correct

Create a thread about it and watch the war begin. Not posting it here.

Considering any thread that involves anything to do with pc/iphone merging turns into a platform war you might as well back up your post here, instead of just saying that pcs are superior with no evidence.

Very well. As you mentioned they have a control advantage which if you have not noticed is actually a big advantage. When I'm sparring a PC user they always hold down the arrow keys to move straight up past you or as a trick. Can iDevice users do that? No. They can also just hold them together without moving anything else and it will look like they are caught in lag and leaves you wondering if they're lagging or are they going to appear somewhere else? Furthermore, they have an advantage in screen size. This effects guild spar. I am using my iTouch 3G and can only see a small range while the PC has a big screen and can see a much wider range. This helps them see players coming at them from farther distances and can easily avoid a surprise attack. Do iDevices have a screen size advantage? The iPad I heard does, but no one will take a picture and show how big it is compared to PC so I can't say much about that.

PC also has less lag since it is on a device that can handle more than a a tiny device with a bigger screen to reduce the amount of compressed area it's loading. These are the advantages I see in PC. I do not believe PC should be aloud on an iDevice game. If you wanted to play Graal on PC play PC Graal, not here.

You can still move diagonally on iPhone, you just can't choose which way you face.

Incorrect yet again, when I run fraps on my PC and have the FPS ticker, it caps at 30. I'm pretty sure all ipods 3rdgen+ can at least match this, or have a better fps. (I still can't walk through graal city w/o dipping down to slideshow status)

And, about the first half of your post, PC screens in the spar room just give you a view of the seats on the left and right, which is useless. I'd rather have it zoomed in on spar so my eyes don't drift away.

I find it much less laggy when I go on the PC than on my third gen. Did you read the screen advantage was for guild spar? I know you can see a wider range in guild spar which isn't useless at all.

heres how vip works. you waste in game money on a pseudo subscription with no real value, vip should never have been, it should have just been removed.

Moving and staying away from the person will usually prevent you from being hit by someone who's lagging and, if they are faking it, there is no chance you will be hit since they are too far away. Also, strafing doesn't pose a large advantage, you move up. Anyone can move up and then move to the side quickly to try and hit you so i don't see how that is a "trick".

An iPad actually has a larger screen then the FB window. So, if this is a significant advantage then iPads would have to be segregated from guild spar as well. People never complain about iPads in guild spar so why is there any complaint over a pc's slightly larger screen size.

So what's the advantage behind having less lag. People are always in spar arena complaining about how they lost to someone because of that persons lag. If anything, based on what many sparrers bitch about, this is a disadvantage.

Still isn't worth putting my account in a headlock.. Especially when the android server is coming up very soon

Do you have anything to support this...?
