very cool idea 100% agree with it
|
this is good.

make the day/night cycle in general that alone is a good idea. Then try the free for all pk at night times after the fact. at the very least we will have a day/night cycle that we can use to have different types of quests, hidden areas, etc
|
I really like the day/night system... I support this.

I'd recommend 3 and a third, or 3 and a quarter, or some sort of mixed number for the number of graal days per 24 hours, as this would allow the time of "late night" to change day to day. It'd kinda be a pain in the ass to only be able to play during the day, or vice versa.

i reallllly like this idea... :/ but this game is worldwide. i bet the japanese wouldnt enjoy playing with a darkened screen, no safe zones, and more baddies everyday when its daytime for them.

The guards are already all inside. PK FOR ALL!!!!

Whoa! My entire brain just skidded to a stop. If at night, it's as laggy as deadwood is usually, I want none of this. And if Deadwood is any darker, it might as well be a black screen. I struggle to see the entirety of Deadwood, the caves, and Snowtown fort usually, so I'm not really sure I'm too keen on this idea anymore.

That idea....it is....AMAZING. Things would be much more fun with a free-for-all time for PKing, as well as new things that can only be accessed at night. Another benefit of this idea is that it would discourage pointlessly AFKing in Graal City for virtual dating and begging for money or getting hours. Sure, they could still AFK during the day and indoors, but that's far less annoying to look at than having them sit there non-stop advertising how single and desperate they are or how they can't be like normal people and farm/buy gralat packs/do the pyrat quest. The only possible downside I can see with this is what Pazx brought up, since in certain places it may lag up or be too dark to see.(I'm looking at you, Deadwood.) If that problem can somehow be resolved, then this idea is perfect for implementation. I think I'll congratulate the person mentioned in the first post next time I log into iClassic.
