I got on my noob account went into the base he was at and asked him a question and he said ask a PR to help you. Wtf really ace? Also he gang spared with a unreleased weapon once.

Lets start a forum about how much I hate Z-Room and its new management! And Ace, I love you man, but you could at least do something since your an Admin... Who cares if your not PR. Your standing right there. Era has gone down too... All the good admins have been fired. The Admins need to hire someone useful... And I really hate Mizzy ATM... Everything I said was right about her. Shall I start a rant forum for us? :P

Why do people get so worked up about being a PR? Do something more useful if you don't get hired. Levels,Scripting and Graphics etc.

Actually there is a app for creating heads or bodies and some levels if u want on your iPod/iPad/iPhone but it isn't free it's only $0.99 and I use it to edit heads I use xD it's called Pixel Painter check it out :)

How do you expect me to be a PR, do all the graphics that I do, do all the animations that I do, do all the sound effects I do, do all the levels that I help with, come up with ideas, help fix bugs, AND pay attention to our 2,000+ player count? Do you guys even have the slightest clue how much work I put in? I spend over 10 hours a day doing nothing but drawing stuff for this server..... So I'm sorry if after a 10 hour shift of drawing and animating, that I'd like to sit back and relax and not deal with player drama, there is a PR team for a reason. You can not expect me to do every single persons job (although I pretty much am anyways) You guys should look at the bigger picture and stop assuming EVERY admin is a PR, because we aren't.

The redundant thing is Ace, that you still found enough time on your "break" to warp me away from the Z Room multiple times, just because Mizzy was getting annoyed. But yet, you still refused to do anything about the player harassment. You wouldn't even warp the harassing player away once.

You may be busy doing all the things you have mentioned, but at the end of the day, admins, regardless of their category, are responsible for making the game enjoyable for players. Admins are looked up to and are inspiration for the players, especially the younger group. The fact that you would let that harassment continue under your nose for hours (according to Mizzy), and not even bother to take three simple clicks of your mouse to deal with it, is unacceptable.

idk if you read the part where I said, "I'm not a PR" so I'll say it again, I'm not a PR. and this thread was about the new PR's not a flame war on the dev team for doing the job they was given rather then doing PR work all day, if I remember right we had a Developer who was fired for doing nothing but PR work all day..... Lets keep this thread on topic, and congrats to those who made PR :D I'm glad to see more reliable admins on the team to assist with then many problems iEra encounters on a daily basis, and I look forward to working with you all :D

seems to me that admin choices are getting sloppy. It appears that people get hired for no reason apart from who they know and are friends with and then some pretty decent admins get fired.

Funny you mention this, but known people and those who we're friends with are actually worth it. Else they won't be known nor our friends.

Not always. Some are just suck ups and some were just friends with the admin before they were an admin. So it is an unfair advantage over other people.

Not really if you look at it from our perspective it works. Think of it this way: We have a person that everybody knows and will already get along with plus we can trust them on top of their good app. Then there is a guy that we have no knowledge about just a good app. I mean I personally think that taking people that will get along with staff from the get go works but thats just me.

And congrats Jeni! Dont listen to the haters xD you will do great!

wow congratulations jeni.. i have confidence in you and hope you will be a good admin (lei rei is still the best though!)

and of course, we all know some players will be unhappy for this decision but please give her a chance..she hasn't even started yet and I know she will do just fine. Who knows, in the future she could be your favorite admin, always actively helping you guys (xD use her to your advantage, she's hired to be your slave now XD)

I thought Admins read the logs anyways... Is there like an Admin I can chose to stalk me, (Well, lets say "Watch") to see what I do... Just curious. ANYWAYS...

I think that lots of the Admins I see dont really hold events or auctions or even help the community to often... We need more people like that. Could we hire someone like that? (A good example such as me) I would be happy to spend 5 or 6 hours a day holding events and auctions.

It shouldn't be when they're hiring, if you want the job help out people the best you can throughout when you play. But good job :3
