How is it broken on ps4? Lmao

Just wanting a quick opinion here. When I buy my Xbox One should I get this game, is it really worth it?

Ok, so, I have never really played BF4 but I have heard it has big maps and you can drive stuff (Which I like because I really enjoyed Halo.) I'm not sure I should get it? It's a choice between CoD Ghost and BF4 but lately I'm hearing that Ghost sucks major ass and gets boring fast. What do you think?

I would just go with Battlefield 4. I've heard too many negative reviews about Ghosts.

Experienced Battlefield players, mind giving me an exciting description of BF4?

I personally don't have it, but if I had a choice between the two, I would choose BF4. What system were you planning on getting it on? As Dusty mentioned, you can play with a lot more players on maps on the new generation consoles. I own BF3, and I heard this is much better than that so I could imagine it's good. I usually get sold by a game from the YouTube gameplay videos.

The most exciting description about BF4 is : "Boom".

But my overall review of the game is good. Especially after the latest China Rising patch that got rid of a lot of bugs.
If you get it on 360 then put it on the HDD, much faster. The game tends to crash a ton, it gets SUPER lag spikes (these are crazy, you will go from 30-5 fps) normally during the levelution events. Theres still a bunch of glitches and the hit detection system is not good. You will take so many bullets at once. The netcode was fixed (amen). BF4 tends to crash a ton too.

Gameplay wise it all depends on the modes you play. If your playing 64 players then play conquest as the maps are very large and its not one giant cluserfk. If you play rush, or obliteration then the perfect amount of people is about 24 (console) - 36 people games as these maps are toned down a lot. Obliteration though, still uses the huge maps but not like conquest size, theres only one objective so ptfo and you will get kills rather easily. Note Obliteration will make you rage as theres annoying parachute spawning so your always being killed from the behind. Watch out for snipers too, BF4 has give a gigantic buff to snipers, they now deal 100 damage at the chest. They also have the best perk set of Spec Ops (basically you're super stealthy and can't be detected by motion sensors unless sprinting). Finnaly they added in freaking C4 to that class so watch out in vehicles as recons drop C4 from roof tops. So in short, there freaking EVERYWHERE and are annoying AF.

Because they gabe ghosts a 8.8 while fans average at 4.4.

Also they tend to overrate big time games. Such as bf4. It was only like a 6 at launch because of all the bugs it was like playing the bad guys in a 90s action movie. You shoot and shoot at a guy (your hitting him) and all your shots dont register as hits while all his shots hit you.

They didn't really give ghosts a 8.8 it was mostly the reviewers opinion but if they all voted it would have been lower.

I'd stop playing the same genre for 9 years straight guys.

Conquest is working on PS4 now :D it's so much fun with 64 players

IGN reviews are opinions? Lmao, if you hate something just because their opinion differs from yours then you will have some troubles out in the real world.

IGN's been known to get paid by major gaming companies (especially Activision) to "review" it with extreme bias to raise hype and sales for the game. Prime example: Ghosts.

Honestly, the best way to judge if a game is good or not is to watch Lets Plays. No bias, just the game. That is, if you can't just borrow it from someone.

if you like the demo and videos, then buy the game.

So GIT, ACE is a beast weapon? Never tried it as I been addicted to the M416 and now just trying out the SAR-21..I think SAR is going to beat my M416 record..I just love this gun.

the ACE23 is good. Theres less horizontal recoil, more spread by like .02 (not noticeable), the ace is super jumpy and much harder to control than the m416 that is way smoother but has a pull to the right. Reload on m416 is better than the ACE. The ACE is like the old m16 in bf3 with way more vertical recoil and a much slower reload. If you can control the aces vert recoil then I find it better then the m416 as on that you have to compensate for vert recoil and the pull to the right.
The SAR shoots freakin 0 recoil laser beams. But terrible at close quarters, bring along a shotgun if your using this.

I heard BF4 is buggy as balls, which has kept me from buying it.
Is the PS3 or 360 version less buggsy?

Yea it's buggy..But DICE and EA patching it up okay..But i would recommend just getting next-gen version unless you really want to play..Heres a list showing amount of players online on each system..

I haven't been able to play it at all because there are bugs, and plus in the last week my internet constantly cuts out.

I just bought a PS3 and with the fact that next gen is sold out everywhere I'm probably going to wait a year to buy a new console.

Omfg they fixed the netcode a looooong time ago. What it is that if you begin to shoot while going into ads then it plays off as shooting from the hip, even though your aiming down the sights. This is what happens and why you must learn how to burst fire, that way it resets and your back to shooting lasers.

i am not a huge fan of the engis. i only use engi if im going behind enemy lines, playing paintball, or if my team is ******s and theres hardley any engis.
BTW is the UMP-9 anygood? im trying to get the engi expert assignment done.

I don't know if the UMP-9 is any good, as I haven't done the assignment. I've had great success with the UMP-45 and the MX4 however. I slap a suppressor on the MX4 and I can spank some booty with that little beast.

God battlefield 4 for next gen is so laggy and buggy. I was just standing in spawn shooting the infinite ammo that I had while my teammates were out having fun :(

holy cow you have a 900,000 engi score and havn't completed that assignment O.o, go repair some scout or transprt choppers, fastest way to get repair tool ribbions and up scout heli score. I use the MX4 muzzle angled and laser sights. I did though take a look at its stats, it looks decent at mid range.

It was like that at the start of the game I couldn't even move and if I even tried to the lag would somehow force me back into the same spot. It wasn't only happening to me, but the games I joined other players were in the same position as me.

eh, never really felt the need to go and grind for it. I think that PDWs are all outclassed greatly by carbines past 20 meters or so so it's not even worth unlocking the lower fire rate ones. The CBJMS I had some success with because of it's large ammo capacity and the UMP45 because of it's high damage but I don't really think the UMP9 has a place. I love rocking the MX4 suppressed because I can rape like 20 people consecutively and the police won't ever know. My only problem with running the MX4 with a suppressor is that I run out of ammo like every other life so I can't kill as many people as I want. #firstworldproblems.

I never had real awesome 20-0 rounds with any pdws. I just stick with the acwr supp or the ak5c

With PDWs, you have to control the engagement super hard. Carbines like the ones you listed give you some room to wiggle and do the job PDWs are designed to do just as well as the PDWs themselves. The AK5C is one of my favorite carbines. Awesome at medium ranges, and does decent in CQC.

Its not great in cqc since the 700rpm kills it, but its a beast at medium - long range. Also whats apparently really good is the MG4.

But pdws are designed to be the best in cqc since they have low hip spread so you can sprint and shoot more accurate and move and shoot faster than you would aiming.
You wanna know whats a real buzzkill? The 44 magnum. That dumb delay.
