Daphne Graal's player base doesn't seem to nearly be 10,000 players that come online daily. Maybe we could use more GPs but as many other people in this thread have been saying its good to find qualified people from various time zones, simple as that.

They're probably hired and paid adults, not players straight from the game with no motivation to do their job

Ah the wonders of games that actually f**king pay their employees for the time and work they put into the game. Maybe staff would spend more time and work more of they actually got something for it.

It's our fault. We aren't buying enough gralat packs and our expectations are too high.

Mostly my reports got ignored, except Evade came once to clear up a hacker. But I just gave up on reporting, nowadays I just take screenshots.

What is a bigger problem is people don't realize how many bull**** Pms we get "HE NYN ADD ME" "CAN I JOIN YOR GUILD" that waste valuable patrolling time when you can EASILY Facebook us or email us with "ATTN: Staffmember" in the subject line.

We really don't have much use for Pming when there are much more efficient ways of communicating.

If a filter could be made, it would be easier. You could have PMs from friends turned off.

Stefan knows how to make a filter it will take only a few hours to make it but not more and the problem will be fixed for the staff members
but the problem is if they will help when they get a pm from a newbie...

And they hire people for trial gp that have no idea whats going on like p.i. Demonstrates in his post above^

Is that because although perhaps it is more efficient, people won't be bothered to email you guys unless it's a decent issue, rather than they mostly wouldn't bother going to the effort just to ask you the "wasting patrolling time" questions?

Patrol time? When was the last time someone was actually punished for breaking a rule? You guys are very serious about staff harassment but what about players using the chat to harass other players? And what about the people hacking by towers? And PMing is quicker and easier than e-mailing.

Personally I think All admins should have pm from friends off... I mean your STAFF! your their to communicate with the graal players and sort problems in the game. IF you cant handle the 'I wanna be admin' comments from noobs shows you have no patience and shouldn't be staff.
Also they should have in their status saying pm if you have a question or problem.. if you spam or ask to be admin you will be banned or blocked. Simples
So complaining about people spamming you or asking can i be admin...
staff use your brain.Just block them or warn them. plus Before you say email with ATTN://(whoever needed)about problems its useless most are ignored or deleted unless they know the person!

last subject to many Classic Staff who do nothing and just show-off on classic the staff department is dreadful to era's staff on so many levels.
Also staff say only azrael,stefan and twinny do new places? why? whats the point of all the other development team? would be great if you actually let the others in development team to do their bit in updating graal and then see the work they have put into it before releasing.

Well the I would really say that Admin's should not block people cause if they actually have a serious questions at a specific time and the admin they are trying to pm has them blocked they won't be able to pm that question and who knows how long it would take for another admin to come along to answer questions.

Staff on iClassic are way different from Staff on iEra. (As wafflez has said before -don't know if it was on this thread or not-) Classic GP admins are to moderate the players of the server, while on Era is to answer questions and moderate players. For iClassic staff they have a choice to keep friends pm only off or on.

It would be much easier, if we could pm staff with questions we have at specific times. As i said if they spam you then you could just warn them of banning...(if you don't want to block them) also if they did need something to know at a specific time their it most likely wouldn't be something so urgent and also their is other staff they could pm(if not on there is allways email.)

It's unfair to have just friends only on as being staff; its like the new staff that get recruited all from staff guilds or know other staff it's too bias.

Classic has too many players on it so we get spammed by pointless pms. You can't really compare it to era or any other server because there are less players. Also my skype is ALWAYS available when I'm on PC so NewYorkerNick.

And to the question up there on when the last time a player is punished for breaking a rule... ALL THE TIME! A couple times every 5 min for me. Reports are read and action is taken. How can you assume we don't punish people when you don't have access to the ban list?

people have to understand that we gets 1000's of pointless reports like: this guy killed me for no reason! i demand you ban him!
and i get 100's of pms that are just people spamming me, asking for hats, and for some wierd reason asking how old i am.
what makes it worse is that i patrol graal for hours everyday and all i hear about admins is that were power abusing freaks.
people really have to put themselves in our shoes.

Second yea I can realize how many spam you get of newbs saying are you hiring lol, but I think the Dev Team needs more than GPs

I have reported someone before and had the person dealt with instantly, and other times i have reported someone and pretty much watched them sit there for an hour with no consequence. I honestly think the number of staff is important, but more importantly they should actually listen to reports! I also think its funny how alot of staff treat "in-game messages" as a terrible thing.. Not everyone wants to get on their pc to ask a simple question. But then again im not staff and i do not see this from their perspective so i guess what i have to say isnt that valid, but this is how it seems from my point of view.

What can you ask on PC what you can´t do on the iDevice?

Point being, i dont want to get off graal to ask a quick question.

PM a staff member? Or (if you have it) use the background option for the iDevice 3G and up or iPad 1 and 2.

Else I think its not that bad having 10 minutes lesser.

*Facepalm* did you actually just say "Pm a staff member"... that's what i'm talking about, they all have pm's from friends only, how is a new player going to get an answer if they do not have the person as a friend... i'm speaking for new players with simple questions, how would they even know to use alternative means to contact someone, i.e. Forums, facebook, etc. if that's how staff wish to be contacted then they should maybe post some contact information in the info kiosk. The only staff member with contact info on the sign is NYN, and i dont think he can contend to all the questions alone..

The majority of them do.. and there's no possible way you can argue that, if you would like to find out, simply pm a staff member that you don't have as a friend, i can assure you they will either ignore you or have friends only on :)

Completely agree with that. But there is staff which answears. Also BurgerBatman is having his contacting e-mail and I think also skype for graal in his status.

How about feedback? When that helm with the wings came out on Facebook server, I tried to get it twice. I got PKed both times and lost 2400 gralats. That's $0.99!!! I want it back, but I feedback it every day for the last two days I think.... And nothing -.-

I feel for admins. Like NYN said, they r always busy getting spam and such n such. When he is on, he hardly is ever able to talk in guild chat (prob cos of dealing with reports or summin) but when he does, its always comical and interesting xD! I know Stefan turns his friends only off and on. But only usually has it on when he is debugging or very busy. And i know for a fact admins do reply if they can or feel they should. Ive had numerous chats with both stefan and Azrael in-game when i had something to actually ask them. Most admins may seem like jerks but so would u if u were in their position. I try not to bother em unless necessary and i tend not to report unless necessary. Btw if u use the email correctly they do answer! Sometimes ur email may be placed in the spam folder which is probably less checked then the normal inbox!! If u dont get a response... Trying usuing another enail address if u have one or like NYN has said- THE MAJORITY HAVE FACEBOOK OR SKYPE! message em on them if u really need to!
