A ton of pokemons got leaked from the demo, nintendo probably left them in on purpose to be leaked though to create hype

I already finished most of the demo except for all the timed events from the npc's

Seems like the greninja has a level cap of 37 so you can't get it to 100 before the main games get released, also if you want to save the game in the demo just complete the place the girl brings you to, after seeing the old man it saves every time

Someone got the game like 11 days early and is leaking a ton of info which also has huge spoilers of the story.
I think he also shared the rom files with a dataminer so now all stats are being leaked from a datamine aswell.

Kind of dissapointing, gonna stay away from clicking any videos or anything about sun/moon :l

I'm pretty sure Nintendo was planning on making the cat a fire/fighting but then saw they've already had 3 fire/fighting and was like "oh well we already made the models" and just made it fire/dark even though it doesn't make much sense because it definitely looks more like a fighting type. I mean come on they made it a freaking wrestler. Why do they do this I was so wanting a cute/badass fire/dark type kitty cat pls.

Owl looks like he's an archer or something which seems really cool. Also I'm a sucker for ghost type. I think I'm going to end up with like 3+ ghost types on my team this time because Alolan Marowak looks awesome af and Gengar is obviously necessary and nonnegotiable. Oh and Lunala is also ghost type too..huh. Looks like I'm gonna be a ghost type trainer this time! Might actually be the first time my team is completely different since I usually keep more or less the same members every time.

Pretty harsh. I'd agree with like a year or less, but permanent is like saying you need to buy a new 3ds all together. I will never understand why people pirate games weeks before release.

the game is cool, but the difficulty... it's like they made it ultra easy.
most random trainer hold a minimum of 2 or 3 pokemon -_-

I'm addicted to it. Finally got my pichu and munlax to evolve after hours of forcing them to love me. Now I just need to find a vulpix and my team is more or less complete.

How is the game? Is it better than expectations? (No spoilers please).

I really like it. It's like x and y but a lot better imo. They changed a lot though, some bad some good. Gengar now has cursed body instead of levitate >:I ... But otherwise I'm enjoying it a lot. Especially the alolan versions of Pokemon. Alolan Marowak ftw

They also got rid of HMs so no need for HM slaves, which I kinda like. You can still get the moves via TM, but they're purely battle moves now.

Seriously though, these games are very hand-holdy and linear with lots of cutscenes. I like a lot of the changes but the pacing is sloooooow and get used to a cutscene every 5 minutes.

Also the new feature where every single wild pokemon can call for back-up help is overused and annoying. For special battles it seems perfectly fine but when every level 3 caterpie can call for help in an endless loop it's annoying. I feel like it would have been better if it was a much lower chance of happening, and if it took the pokemons turn. Right now you can hit a pokemon, "sturdy" ability keeps it alive, it calls for help and then attacks you at the same time. Even if you kill it the new pokemon that came to help can also call for help... so on and so forth. And you can't catch pokemon if there's more than one on the field. So getting pokemon to low hp is necessary to catch them but also increases the chance they will call for help. Hell, I've had them call for help when their hp wasn't even half yet.

That's not to say it's not fun, but if you don't like cutscenes and every single path other than the one they want you to take being blocked off for stupid reasons like, "My pokemon is very picky and needs to find every single buried item here, please come back when it's done!" you might have a hard time getting into it.

Currently downloading pokemon moon (europe), had to erase everything from my sd card to even have the space to download it.
Most likely not even gonna be able to play due to lack of space for the savefiles and extra data.

Will be getting a 64gb micro sd card to replace the default one tomorrow though lol

I spent like 15-20 minutes attempting to catch an Eevee because of this.

If you put a status effect on the Pokemon it can't call for help. That's why when I go Pokemon hunting I bring out my Pikachu first and use Nuzzle immediately to paralyze it so it can't call for help. Muahahah.

But yes, the calling for help aspect is slightly annoying.

Got to the first challenge of the second island and I'm about to play it again. been trying to evolve my even munchlax so I get the snorlax and I get annoyed everytime my greninja doesn't listen lol. Yeah I hate the calling for help. Unlike past games I probably won't need to use any guides until some parts of after games because of how straight forward the main storyline is thanks to the rotom Pokedex's flag feature on the map.

this game is so handholdy makes me feel like a child. Impossible to explore until you do every mission.

That is another thing about how the rotom Pokedex works.... And the paths being blocked. "yeah so that you go ahead and complete lana's trial were going to throw a few pokemon in the way to stand there and block the path to the next city instead of putting an npc to actually tell you to go and do the trial."

Yeah that's pretty annoying too. There was a lot o couldn't do or reach because I had to progress the story line first. Now that I've finally made it to the 3rd island I can find the move reminder to teach my Pikachu and alolan Marowak moves that they missed out on, which is something I've been wanting to do for a long time but couldn't for stupid hand-holdy reasons.
