The reason it is how it is now is because of Carlito's incompetence and ability to get so easily agitated by trolls.

It was a mixture of trolls, ****ty/lazy staff members, Thallen's self-righteous attitude and predominately Carlito's ability to go full ******.

Carlito is literally the worst PWA of all time, Rob also didn't do **** despite clearly knowing how ******ed Carlito is (although Rob probably only got the job because he was friends with Carlito).

Carlito spent the whole time trying to manage the server (even though he is a PWA) despite being too incompetent to do so with his ego taking over every time.

We can blame the trolls and the kind of players it had but it wouldn't have been like this if people like Carlito weren't so incapable of getting anything done. He was literally going around banning people for the dumbest fking reasons.

It literally came to the point where Ramza was more liked than Carlito.

Now you will notice I listed Thallen's pretentious self-righteousness as one of many reasons the server had fallen despite it not actually having anything to do with the server being as it is now... but it sure was annoying as fk to hear this hypocritical ass act as if he was better than everyone.

Yes, it was Carlito that ultimately pulled the plug on UN, but to be fair, UN has gotten various warnings from various PWA teams over the years and been told to clean up their **** in order to remain - they never did. They had it coming for many years, it's not like UN's removal was a surprise from clear sky.

When you have staff members that support super toxic players without taking action against them for years, the entire server ultimately breaks Graals Terms of Conduct.

I also seriously doubt it was Carlito's decision to pull the plug, it most likely came from above him.

i highly doubt he's older then 27 tbh just because the amount of years he has played doesn't mean hes old af and also if you play graal passed you 30 as a normal player that's pretty weird in my opinion not trying to offend any one who's older then 30.

Are you kidding me? A ton of the nonsense arguing and trolling was done by adults who have been playing UN for a long time. If I had the patience, I could go through chatlogs to find several examples of this in mass messages, and other players saying how adults shouldn't act that way.

I started playing UN in 2012 or 2013 I was either ending middle school or starting high school. I figured that no one would want to deal with an immature kid like me, so I kind of kept quiet and did my own thing until I knew how to fit in better without being annoying. Now im not saying that the whole community was trash, because I did like a lot people there, but to blame the downfall of UN on we who started within the past few years is not a fair claim to make.

2. None of them were really relevant or given attention until UN started dying, probably sometime after 2010

Gonna have to disagree with you, UN's community was quite terrible. But so is iClassic's, should that server be shut down? No because it's giving Unixmad that income he so desperately needs.

UN made no money and quite frankly put a blemish on Graal, it was just easier to see the cancer because the server was smaller.

Well on UN you had staff mobbing and abusing players. Plus you had special VIP players who also did as they pleased. In addition you had a poisonous community.

iClassics staff team is competent and actually gets stuff done without having to verbally abuse their community

the more seriously staff tried to take UN, the worse the server became. the server itself was never good, it was driven by the community and didnt have much to lose. hardly an economy, no jobs, flexible overworld, etc.

pc graal's playercount withered away thanks to the administration...couple that with a joke server that's too busy trying to be taken seriously and you get a dead server.

Yes and no. Yes because Unixmad is to blame due to not looking into how corrupt Carilto. No because the graal community didn't try hard enough to get rid of him. To say that PC Graal is so bad is ridiculous. Going to add my 2 cents to it:

I do believe that MD was the main cause of UNs downfall. However, certain players as well as staff kept giving MD reasons to actually take actions; for example Ramza (who was no staff during that period at all) and other staff members that thought they can do whatever they want, like unbanning a player that got banned by MD for USDing.
UN has been toxic since years, there were always corrupt staff members like Wynde, who fired staff jailing BTK ******s but it was always within UNs own community. I can't really say anything against the taken measures because they had reasons.
However, I don't really like the way MD has dealt with UN; he kept bugging the management (Jave) which made him quit his position. Jave was UNs last hope at that point. And I'm sorry but if you manage to get your account hacked on multiple platforms (facebook, skype, graal) by a fat guy who has zero knowledge then you should probably blame yourself. MD was actually the reason why certain staff decided to help Ramza instead of taking actions against him.

Well when, and if, a new PWA comes along maybe try asking them to bring back UN. I'm sure they'd understand because in all honesty Carlito shouldn't have just ended UN as a whole

actually carlito did the right thing for unholynations, there were alot of toxic people there trolling day and night, i am relieved that it was put to a stop.

whenever a new player were to login, the old players would suggest them to avoid the server, it's better off gone than to cause more problems.
