gotta say, dragon's teeth is right up my alley. I was gunna write only a little bit, but then I had so much to say.
Propaganda is an excellent map. So the map has a highway down the middle which is great for tank combat and has a little elevated strip with the train tracks on it. On one side of the tracks, it's like a throw back to BC2. It's so good. On the other side of the tracks and across the highway there are government areas. There's a statue of KimIlSung or whatever and it's an interesting objective to fight over because of the stairs leading up to it. There are other areas down the way which are government buildings which are the paracel two story buildings and accessible warehouses. It's a really pretty map, too. The snow just looks very good. 10/10, would play again for Propoganda.
I'm a fan of Pearl Market. I love whipping out my new MPX and going to town. It's kinda hard to shoot down from the roofs just because there's so much overhanging ****. That's a good thing. I think getting shot from the roofs is really exaggerated because the roof campers are usually occupied with the other roof campers shooting at them. The map is a more complicated Grand Bazaar with the verticality of Flood Zone. I think the roof to roof combat is more fun than floodzone. It's more CQC and interesting in my opinion. The ground combat is fun because it is so fast paced. I can shoot three guys, then run out the back and they'll never guess where I went just because the maps are so complicated. There are several main roads that go through the map, but there are so many alleys. This map is great for infantry combat. It's the metro cluster **** minus the boring part of sitting in one stairwell never moving up getting killed by RGOs all day.
I haven't mentioned it yet, but there's no way to get to the top of the skyscrapers on any of the maps I believe. This is important to know, because Sunken Dragon has many skyscrapers and I wanted to relieve anyone's concerns. Sunken Dragon is shaped in a U, like Lancang, except not **** like Lancang. It has a lot of copy pasted buildings from siege and the parking garage from Flood Zone. This is fine. The action is more compacted than Siege. The buildings are interesting and combat is cool. There's a bridge dividing the map. There are control towers on the bridge that you can empty the lake or fill it at. When emptied, you can walk across the man made lake, and it's not too far. When it's filled, it floods the hotel, which I will talk about now. The Sea Dragon is a floating hotel in the lake that sank but it is way higher than the maximum water level. It is a good area for infantry combat and SRAW sniping people cross map if that's your dig. When the water is up, swimmers are easy pickings from the Sea Dragon. If you're looking to unlock the Unica 6, I suggest getting your 10 water kills inside the sea dragon in the water when it's flooded. Use your pistol of choice, I'd suggest the compact45 because it's low recoil and fire rate really works well for this. The Unica is worth the grind.
Can't say much about the Garden map. Apparently there's some train station that I've never even been too, hehe.
Okay, onto the guns. The Bulldog rapes in close to medium, and can be effective at longer range if you're good with it. The MPX is an excellent PDW, great choice for Pearl Market if you control your engagements correctly. The Unica is a really good CQC revolver, I definitely recommend it if you're into that 6 shot life. I haven't unlocked Juan Deag yet because you need 20 unica head shots to unlock it, and that's pretty hard. There's not many roof campers to execute on this map, so you pretty much need lucky head shots. The sniper looks stupid, super low velocity in exchange for regular sniper damage and a super fast reload? No thanks. The RAWR is actually pretty fun to use. It can deal out damage fast, but 3 guys all shooting you means you're going down fast.
Chainlink is so fast paced. Guys, all I'll say, slow down, play smart, and you'll kill a lot of stupid blue berries who don't really know what they're doing and just throw themselves on flags. Keep an eye on your flags. If they're taking a flag that breaks two of your links, so what you gotta do.
Honestly, if you're an infantry player like me, this DLC is for you. It's a lot of fun. The maps are good, the guns are OP, and it's worth your money if you love battlefield.
Hope you found this informative guys.
I think I'm going to post some more strategies for these maps later once I play them some more.
