Well, look at it this way. Glitch or not, it was do-able and people got used to it. So even if it was never "intended", it was being used by people for quite a while. It's not like people were intentionally trying to cause harm. When something is in the game (glitch or not) and is being widely used, it's going to garner a lot of negativity when it's taken away, especially without any warning/notice/explanation. That's why people are being so vocal.

It's not my fault players didn't report obvious glitches and instead decided to exploit them for the longest time.

True. I'm personally not mad about it (at least not anymore). I appreciate the clarification.

When I die in the bandit cave with the boxes and get warped out, I respawn with .5, making it really hard to get through the boxes.

Yes, this is a flaw with the client itself that can't be remedied on our end. That's why there are now healing vases in that area.
edit: I have added so it will heal you if it can, but I can't vouch for how reliable it will be.

The problem with the vases is I can't heal myself due to AP.

I also can't heal you via code either :( I didn't consider AP... I'll take a look and see what I can do.

Just let a nearby bandit kill you. It's still way better than dying in the box room, having the boxes reset, and not being warped out.

Anyway, there's a similar issue if you warp to your house/GH the moment you die. You appear with .5 hp. I'm guessing that's caused by the same game limitations.

Another bug that's been bothering me; The area in front of the witch's treehouse in Swamp Town, the area where pk is turned off (including the pond); If you try to enter someone's house in this area, it says you can't because you're on a wall. So often times I have to zoom out my screen and walk all the way around to the bottom of the pond, or north to the top of the treehouse. Either way, it's very frustrating. I think I speak for everyone on this one.

Ya, again it's the reason CTF was shut down. I have tried countless "workarounds" for fixing this and none of them work. However from messing with a fix for the Bandit cave I have noticed AP may seem to be the culprit in this .5 heart bug. I'll have to try emailing Stefan about it again.

This bug is the reason why Classic doesn't have a more proper respawn mechanic as it's something I've wanted to do for a long time.

I never bothered because this complaint comes up maybe once every couple of months so I've kind of just pushed it pff as not important. I'll take a look at it tomorrow though.

Another things related to AP and healing. I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended, but when your guild takes over a tower, everyone in your guild is supposed to heal to full health. But you can't heal when you have a low AP, which most people in towers have too low of an AP to heal.

A bug that's been bothering me for a long time: The #b furniture command. It's supposed to work just like <br> right? It does add a line break, but sometimes the next word appears on its own line, and then the rest of the text appears as normal. It looks like this:

Marry had a little lamb, little lamb (#b here)
little
lamb, marry had a little lamb...

I can usually fix the problem using quotations (which can be used to keep a certain amount of text on one line) if I have to, but perhaps this could finally be fixed?

Another furniture issue. At some point, we lost the ability to re-size images using furniture code. I believe the parameters were #i(image.png x,y,width=100,height=100). None of them work anymore. Was this intentionally removed?

One more small (but annoying) bug; When you type out a sentence ending with a period, and start a new sentence with any words that start with "com", "org", "net", etc, it gives you the "no advertising" alert. Example:

"So yeah that's fine. Coming over now."

Perhaps the advertising filter can be adjusted so these types of sentences won't give you a "no advertising" error.

When you have no country selected it reverts to default country when relogging

This is a bug with the custom sign rendering, even us devs have to deal with the issue :(

I've tried fixing it, but it's Jerret's code and didn't manage to figure out a way to fix it.

As far as I know they ride off of the default sign codes, and that works as follows: #i(image, sourcex, sourcey, sourcewidth, sourceheight) which is for cropping, not scale.

So for example #i(#3,0,64,32,32) would display your head, and only the down(front) sprite.

Sorry, filtering is done by the client and is pretty much out of our control.

I did not know that. Thats's very interesting. I'm gonna have to play around with that. That's too bad about #b. Not a big deal though.

And thanks for fixing it so you can enter houses in that area in front of the witch's treehouse in swamptown. Much appreciated. Still doesn't work in the pond, however. I'm wondering if it's because of the diving mechanic (when you dive, it takes you to that underground area) in that particular pond? It's not a big deal, I'm just curious.

The fireworks furniture item, when you place it somwhere and reset your game, it moves slightly, I believe to the upper left by a unit or so. Pretty sure they've always done this, but it's hard to get them where you want if you have to keep resetting your game to do it

Yes, thank you. I forgot about this one. You can actually get around this by putting the fireworks slightly lower-right than where you intend to place them, so they actually move into the desired spot. Just a tip until this bug is (hopefully) fixed.
