The purpose of this thread was to combat stefans slanderous lies and misinformation.

and because we are being heavily censored on the main forums with every thread or post being deleted. it's impossible for us to tell the real story of what happened.

stefan seems content to hide from us. tell people Thor viciously attacked him for no reason, and making up **** that never happened.

Everything that was said or posted was anti-observer mode. or a sarcastic humor at the way stefan blatantly ignores player-worlds, or makes promises that never come to fruition. when by now it's obvious he says this stuff just to placate us.

However, I find that post rather ironic considering your attack on my intelligence based on a few posts within a thread-You seem as if you are attempting to incite unnecessary conflict because of a post of mine you disagree with.

So many things wrong with this I'm not quite sure where to begin.
First of I see that many people refer to what Thor said to or about Stefan as harrassment when its more light jokes about his ignorance towards his own game.

Staff have spent three years re-making Classic and players have spent three years waiting for the server to release only to have removed from the playerlist tab straight after release. People have payed money to upgrade their accounts just for the sake of playing Graal the Adventure, its not fair on us that our manager be removed and we left with someone who already has quite alot on their plate to deal with and won't be able to commit the time Thor has into Classic.

Stefan's digging his own grave. I'm also pretty pissed about this.

That being said, why do talented developers even touch Graal any more? I personally haven't logged more than 2 hours a month on Graal in the last few years, and those hours were just reverse engineering or just seeing the state of things. Ever since I stopped developing on Graal, I've gotten a contract with Sony to develop a PS Vita game, a full ride to college because of some portfolio projects I completed during this time, and a huge network of contacts that can get me a job at any point in my college career because they know that I'm a good programmer. If I was still developing for Graal I'd just be wasting my time and getting abused.

I think once you pass a certain skill ceiling you should stop developing for Graal altogether, because talented developers always seem to get shafted. Not only that, but if you have the skills you might as well apply them to something that can build a career for you rather than just ****ing around on a game.

Say what you want about its content, but Graal wouldn't be anywhere without Xor's management. Trust me on this--and I have no reason to lie. I don't staff anymore. It's just the straight up nonpartisan truth. You need not spread bull**** without knowing him or seen the results through RC yourself.

Also RC stuff really shouldn't really be posted on forums, but this is freaking awesome. Waita go Stefan! Good to see people who deserve something receive it and people who do nothing but talk meaningless game politics get booted out. It's about damn time.

Maybe I don't know internally what he's doing, but I've seen from a player perspective the responses he has made to many situations.

Stefan and Xor talk everyday.
I imagine they do communicate regularly, but I doubt Stefan has been auditing his work because if he knew of all of the things he has done, he would never let him manage such a highly profitable game

iClassic is a profitable server.
Of course it is, so many people play it and it has much potential. Its not just where it is because of Xor though, many talented developers helped make what exists, and there really aren't any games like it in the iOS app store. There is not a single open world MMO on the app store that focuses on socialization, and overall fair play in terms of combat. It is probably also the only commercial MMO that allows players to completely customize their character from scratch using graphics they created themselves.

iClassic is an amazing game. It doesn't really fit my interests much anymore, but the concept of it is great.

Well obviously if the server had no manager the who staff team would be less organized and keeping track of everything would be more difficult. A server does need a manager. However, there are many people who can do a better job at it than him

I'm not saying I could do a better job, because I would be a terrible manager of such a large game. I don't have enough time to devote to it, I am too young, and I lack the organizational skills to be able to keep things going smoothly.

Having been globally banned by him for 45 days for jokingly telling a close friend something I read on Azrael's public blog was a rumor, I have seen some of the decisions he has made. Worse yet, he labeled it as "Purposely destroying game content" under server destruction, making it seem as if I tried deleting all the files on the server or something. Luckily, Stefan was generous enough to fix the reason to something more accurate.

I don't mind him firing me for that, it was a reasonable choice since I was spreading misinformation and I was never a very good gp in the first place. I wouldn't have even minded if he banned my iPhone account too because it had access to other players from the server. But of course he was too lazy to do that. Instead he bans my pc account which can't do any further "harm".

I've also seen him talking about beta keys for some game on rc, then at the same time when I asked a question about something related to my role as a gp(think it was asking about one of our policies or something), he immediately started yelling at me threatening being fired for spamming-I only asked once.

Now i see that stefan is the model staff member to base all iclassic hirings off of. I got banned from classic for saying "hi" while a sign was picked up. And plus i got banned for the same amount of time as the anonymous members who hacked iera in april 2011. So apparently saying hi on a sign is hacking.
