This story is dedicated to all the people in era who got scammed or betrayed.

*If you don't care, leave this thread. I am conveying my message to the scammed victims*

Many people get scammed. It's not fun. But realize the story and the truth that lies within these scammers. No player names are involved in this story. Many people probably won't care about this story. Gather around my friends. Nothing here was made up. This is my story of 1 of 1000 scammed victims in era.

~~~
Spoiler
A gang member who was in my gang for quite awhile helped me make a video. We quickly became good friends. (will refrain uploading the video) Later during the week, he begged the heck out of me for my hammer. He swore to God that he will return it back soon. (he would borrow my hammer and it's a powerful promise) Unable to withstand it, I gave him the hammer. When his hammer time was up, I asked for it back. He said he wanted to keep it longer. I kept convincing him to give it back. He eventually logged off to avoid me. I eventually asked him the next day to give it back. He made a rather bad excuse to log off. Saying his phone is low on batteries. He just logged off again. Knowing now that he is trying to avoid me, I told my friends that I no longer have my hammer. My friends being very defensive and learned who stole my hammer, demanded him to return it back. (heck...the whole gang except the thief was defending me >_<) He would try as many methods as he can to avoid us. Such as claiming his brother is playing, etc. But we countered them. He eventually gave up and admit guilt but never dropped it. I told him warnings why he should give it back. Betraying a friend and breaking a promise was not a good thing. It's a bad example to follow in real life as well. He lost practically all his friends in the ally gangs and the main gang. He once claimed that he is a scammer and he is proud. Bam! A load of hate messages to him follows up. It wasn't funny. I remained silent. He showed the hammer he stole from me to other friends who don't know about the story yet. They found it suspicious since he said he got it from an auction and claiming full owner ship of that hammer. They came up to me soon after learning that the hammer was stolen. (Even people I didn't know before or people who weren't in my gang or ally gang.) They learn the full story. They then realize how evil it was to betray a friend, steal his hammer, and claim full ownership of it. Numerous messages I got were related that he doesn't care about me any more. Continuous days of begging for the hammer back. (every day gang members ask me if I got my hammer back) The thief then had the guts to say that he loves his hammer more than his friends. It's a sad story. But's it's true. This is no original story. It has happened to many scammed victims. This is the dark truth of era.
That's my story my friends. Realize you are not alone. Be careful of whom you trust because friends can use their kindness or your kindness to get what they want.
Amen to you victims.
I learned it the hard way. I ignored my conscience.
If u want to trade make it so that u're really good protected without saying : ,,U FIRST NO SKAMM I NO SKAMM" like most of graal says.
Do you know how pathetic this thread sounds? You get scammed. Get over it. I'm sick of the sight of this -and other- threads "__ scmameed mw, helpp pls".
BabyGhost 10-20-2012 06:54 PM
I personally don't care anymore about my hammer. What bothers me is how people love a virtual item over their friends.
Some people will just never understand what my message is really about. Everyone assumes a scam thread means its a cry thread. For goodness sakes! What I'm trying to say here is how some people in era care less about others. If you think I'm trying to hide my crying about the hammer, I would have been making like 3 threads about getting the hammer back.
Reading your post, I assume you haven't read the whole story yet. People are always quick to conclusions >_<
iHot 10-20-2012 08:51 PM
Keep in mind that like the item the friend is also virtual.
Yes, kinda. It's a real person on the other side with a virtual appearance.
Ah but the "friends" personality could be fake it takes time in this game to become someone's genuine friend.
