Chess is fun when your dominating the opponent and your 2 moves ahead. It's the worst feeling though when your losing or you know your going to lose.

Chinese chess is a pretty good alternative too. I only play chess as a recreational activity, more or less.

I know how to play chess. im alright at it but honestly i have more fun playing checkers cuz its simple and pretty much eveyone knows how to play it.

They need a good online chess playing site. All the ones I've tried have been crappy.

www.lichess.en is decent, but I use www.chess.com for rated play.

Do either of them have that annoying feature where it forces you to only do a certain move? Like most checker sites I go on force me to jump over a piece when I don't want to.
